I've been exploring something in parallel with OhShii: KeyMesh, an early experiment around confidential and verifiable external compute on ICP.
The first focus is AI inference, exploring how ICP could coordinate compute providers without requiring users to blindly trust the machine running their workload.
Still very early, with plenty of things to prove or disprove.

I keep seeing “canister top up” apps on ICP and it got me thinking.
Why wouldn’t our app be able to just keep its own cycles topped up automatically if I can just deposit some $ICP into the treasury?

Well this is very concerning. We were all told that $ICP was hack proof. You'd think the main DEX's would be safe , meant for billions of dollars of trading ... First we see @KongSwapX cannister get hacked and drained, same happens to @sonic_ooo today. The BIG question is this , is everyone on @ICPSwap just sitting ducks? How do we KNOW for sure that the next hack isn't going to happen here? The way things are going it really just seems like a matter of time.
