Unai Emery's 100th PL win - the joint-ninth fastest. #AVFC struggled defensively this season - players and Emery have spoken about it. But, really, that issue was not solely a back four problem. Victor Lindelof has led that defence but was backed upp by Mings, Cash, AWB and Pau today.
Lindelof is one of Emery's best-ever signings. A free agent. Incredible performance.

Unai Emery says he's confident Taylor Harwood-Bellis will impress when he plays. Why?
"Because he watches Victor Lindelof every day." #AVFC

To me it’s as simple as this. Ever since Pau Torres has joined we’ve looked like a top 4 team, regardless of who he’s played next to, Konsa, Carlos, Lindelof.
Anytime he doesn’t play we are no where near a top 4 team. #AVFC

Al-Nablus University in the West Bank sets up an exhibition celebrating the 9 August bombing of a Sbarro restaurant in Israel, in which 16 civilians were killed.
The Palestinian Authority makes the effort to build a mock Sbarro storefront and include props of mutilated body parts, to trumpet the perceived success of Palestinian resistance against Israel.
Visitors are required to walk over Israeli and American flags to enter and leave the exhibition.

So now we know that, were we to face a significant attack, Burnham would not consider a military response to be justifiable.
Our nation is fundamentally and catastrophically unsafe under Labour. Our government is a threat to our national security.

Mass celebrations break out in the West Bank and Gaza, and Palestinians cheer, dance, and distribute free sweets.
Palestine is the only known place on earth to see overwhelming popular celebration of yesterday’s attacks, although Yasser Arafat condemned the attacks and denied responsibility yesterday.

Konsa didn’t like Villa fans, he got the welcome he deserved. Wearing another shirt, his intention to stop Villa scoring & beating Villa. Few weirdos clapped him & made his debut a pleasant one for the opposition
Why are people surprised that Konsa didn’t clap the fans at the end 😂😂😂 bloke called us dickheads at wolves last year #avfc

May be controversial but if United offered serious money he'd have been ahead of everyone we've sold so far as a priority sale.
Defensively average, offensively offers little, lots of energy but most of it misplaced.
There are better left backs out there for sure.

It doesn’t matter who is Labour leader, they all want to increase taxes to pay for more benefits.

Remember when James Milner chucked in a fantastic performance in a 3-0 win against West Ham.
He chucked himself into tackles, scored, and was MOTM.
This happened when he and everyone else knew he’d sign for Man City straight after. They don’t make em like that now eh??

Emi Martinez has actually acted more professionally than Ollie Watkins has which I didn’t think I’d be saying.
Martinez never did what Watkins has. #AVFC
