Osseo 10 - Rats 6. Season ends at River Falls again to a veteran CRBL team- best of luck to the Merchants. Thanks to all of our supporters and players for an otherwise fun season! To our college guys- best of luck in school and with your college teams…
Rats 3 - LoGators 18 yesterday… Shout out to Matt and the squad for having us over to play at their place and good luck to them in the playoffs! Next up for the Rats is our opening regional game in River Falls on Saturday night at 6 PM. We will play the loser of Osseo-LaX.
Millers 0 - Rats 10. WP- B. Berkhof, LP- B. Cunningham. HR - E. Babler. Next up is an 8 PM friendly at Toni Stone Field in St. Paul on Tuesday night against the St. Paul Mudhens.
Only slightly disappointed that our Fox 9 hosts didn’t ask if wearing women’s underwear was part of our turn ons yesterday during the manager interview spot.
Bat flips… yes or no? If yes, only in the box or is anywhere acceptable? Follow up- does your pitcher drill the next guy, their best hitter, or not at all? Of course the best advice is to avoid giving up the homer in the first place. 🙂
Rats 5 - Fish 8. Rats drop to 10-1 in league play with 3 games remaining. Next up on the docket are the New Richmond Millers on Sunday at home for a 1 PM tilt. Thanks to Fox 9 for hosting the Town Ball tour game tonight at the Bank. Onward and upwards!
We’ll have a little Dropkick Murphys in the song rotation tomorrow for Jace Matacynzski who was drafted by the Red Sox today… As for today, Rats 15 - Expos 6. Kretovics and Grancorvitz each go 5 for 7, Kretty scores 4 and Isaiah picks up 6 RBIs.
We are scheduled to play next Wednesday in River Falls for the Fox 9 Townball tour against the River Falls Fighting Fish - 7:30 PM start time. We cordially invite all former River Rat players to attend. Not sure about the team song during the broadcast though… #wba #riverrats
Rats 7 - Hawks 14. More kicks than a World Cup match and more balls than a driving range on a Saturday morning. The sun did come up this morning however, so the world didn’t end. Next up are the Elmwood Expos Saturday on the road and the Osceola Braves at home Sunday.
No game tonight- NSP is short on players… Have a safe and enjoyable holiday weekend and we hope to see you at our next game scheduled for Wednesday, July 8th at Hastings - 7:30 PM start.
Rats 3 - Dawgs 5. Good game to stay busy during the league scheduling break - many thanks to Plymouth for hosting as always! Back at it tomorrow against the NSP Snowmen at their place… #baseball #hudsonriverrats
Rats 2 - Hogs 8. Appreciate the invite and the game at Palm Field- always a pleasure playing there! Next up on the docket are the Plum City Blues on Sunday for a 1 PM road game…
Rats 8 - Knights 3. CG win for Mitchell Anderson. 185 pitches - he said he was imitating Nolan Ryan and came close- 6H, 3R, 9 BBs, 11 Ks. Just have to do that for another 25 years… Thanks to Ryan and the Knights for the game, and to Cyle H for working the game!
Rats 9 - Hawks 4. Next up on the docket are the Metro Knights Wednesday night at WB Township at 8 PM. WP - A. Schwechler, LP- C. Smith. 4 doubles and a triple among 19 Rat hits on the day. Kudos to the Hawks and our NW Umpire crew for a good game at a good looking park!
We’re back at it tomorrow against the Ellsworth Hubbers at home for a 1 PM league game… #hudsonriverrats #scvbl #WBA
