Yesterday, ICRC President Mirjana Spoljaric and Regional Director for the Near and Middle East Nicolas Von Arx visited Kibbutz Nir Oz, where they witnessed the devastation caused by the events of October 7 2023 firsthand.
ALT President Spoljaric heard heartbreaking testimonies about the fates of families who had loved ones killed and taken hostage that day. She saw the damage inflicted upon the communities and the individuals who lived there, and the devastation that remains clearly visible more than a year after.
