Governor Soludo, your security agents are committing barbaric acts. I thought our society had evolved past this.

Peter P-Square I have friends in Osun State who have spoken highly of their Governor, Ademola Adeleke, I see no reason for VDM to dr@g him into this issu£ and attempt to involve Davido as well. This is how he goes around destr@y!ng families; he did the same to my brother and me.

Education Is the Foundation of a New Nigeria
Education remains the most important tool for development and nation-building. It has been proven that the more educated a nation is, the better it develops. It has also been proven that the developing and developed nations of today are those that have invested in education, healthcare and pulling people out of poverty.
Nigeria’s increasing poverty remains a consequence of not investing adequately in critical areas of development, especially education.
Today, while observing the International Day of Rural Women, I visited Sheda and Sheda Galadima, in Kwali Area Council of FCT, where I was surprised to see a huge number of school-age children in the market environs on a school day.
In my conversation with the children, I was deeply shocked to learn that they had been at home for over two weeks due to the teachers’ strike.
So, while we are busy inaugurating campaign councils with pomp and pageantry and declaring economic miracles, our young children of school age are loitering in the streets because of a strike, in a nation with already over 18 million out-of-school children.
It is time to put our children and the future of our country back at the centre of governance and government decisions. Under our leadership, investment in health and education, as well as pulling people out of poverty, will be our priorities.
The relevant authorities should immediately ensure that our children in public schools return to school in the FCT.
A New Nigeria is POssible, and Nigeria will be OK. -PO

Diezani Alison-Madueke’s story should not be reduced to gossip, headlines and recycled public anger. It raises a deeper question about evidence, power, politics and how society treats women who enter spaces historically dominated by men.
Bolouere Opukiri’s point is powerful: the real mass of any criminal case should be evidence. Documents. Payment trails. Credible testimony. Proof that can survive cross-examination. But the weight attached to a case often comes from politics, media pressure and social prejudice. That distinction matters.
Whatever anyone thinks about Diezani, justice must not be built on assumptions. Allegations must be tested. Assets must be linked by evidence. Public anger must not replace due process. A person should not become guilty simply because a story has been repeated for years.
Diezani was not an accidental public figure. She rose through Shell, became the first woman appointed Executive Director in Shell Nigeria’s history, later became Minister of Petroleum Resources, and in 2014 became the first female President of OPEC. That record alone shows a woman who had operated at the highest levels of corporate and global energy leadership before politics turned her into a national symbol.
But politics is harsher than the boardroom. In corporate life, competence can be measured through qualifications, performance and institutional process. In politics, power is often shaped by propaganda, patronage, informal networks, emotional manipulation and sometimes raw intimidation. For women, the burden is heavier. They are judged not only as politicians but also as women who dared to occupy sovereign authority.
That is why the public narrative around Diezani became so revealing. Instead of focusing only on evidence and institutional accountability, the conversation often drifted into spectacle: luxury, shopping, jewellery and exaggerated stories. Some claims became viral not because they were proven, but because they were useful in turning a powerful woman into a symbol of everything people hated about the system.
This does not mean women should be shielded from scrutiny. No public officer should be above accountability. But scrutiny must be fair, proportionate and evidence-based. If corruption is alleged, prove it. If assets are linked, show the legal basis. If there are Nigerian allegations, test them properly in court.
Justice must not be selective.
The Diezani saga is bigger than one woman. It is a test of whether Nigeria can discuss corruption without abandoning fairness, and whether a democracy that welcomes women in boardrooms can also judge them fairly when they enter political power.

Do whatever that is within your reach to oust out the APC government
The first four years of any administration we've witnessed in Nigeria is usually better than the second tenure
Expect the worst of all the second tenures witnessed in Nigeria if he rigs his way in
if Bola Ahmed Tinubu emerges again,we are finished 😭😭😭
Just a reminder 🎗️ 🎗️
