🚨 PUBLIC WARNING: LFW / LookingForWinners 🚨 Rankly is advising creators, users, and potential partners to exercise caution when dealing with LFW / LookingForWinners. We entered into a 6-month commercial arrangement with LFW under its previous ownership. Several agreed requirements were not completed, and a substantial portion of the arrangement remains unresolved. Our dealings relating to the original arrangement were with RelaxxEvann. He owes a substantial amount to Rankly. LFW has since changed ownership. Current management says they do not consider themselves responsible because the arrangement originated under previous ownership and no formal written contract was executed. We acknowledge that this is their position. However, some members of the current management were already involved with LFW in staff or management roles before the ownership change. While we are not alleging that the new owners personally created the original dispute or are legally responsible for the previous owner’s obligations, we strongly disagree with how they have chosen to handle the situation. LFW has also failed to process withdrawals to their users, worth around 1,000USD. From our perspective, refusing to meaningfully resolve a dispute with a previous business partner while continuing the same project, particularly when some of the current management were already involved, demonstrates a serious lack of fairness, accountability, humaneness and respect. That behavior is one of the main reasons we believe potential users and partners should take LFW’s history into account when deciding whether to trust the project today. We were also informed by current management that the project intends to rebrand because of the reputation associated with LFW, with “tkns” mentioned in our communications as a possible successor name. We have retained screenshots and records documenting the arrangement, incomplete deliverables, attempts to resolve the dispute, ownership transition, current management’s position, and previous involvement of some current staff. Until this matter is resolved, Rankly recommends that creators, users, and potential partners carry out their own due diligence and exercise caution before committing money, services, or commercial obligations to LFW or any successor brand. If the matter is resolved, we will publicly update this statement. Repost to spread awareness. 🚨
