We call her the Godmother of MiamiTech aka “La Madrina”.
@melmedina305 is so much more than that. A mom, a CEO, an investor, & a tireless champion of thousands of people across our state building their dreams. 🇺🇸
Grateful to call her my sister 💪🏽
Bravo on @eMergeAmericas 2026
10 years ago I walked into Code/Art not knowing how to code.
Last weekend I spoke at the NCWIT awards at Code/Art Fest.
Student → TA → Instructor → Board Member.
Miami’s next generation of founders is already in the room.
Our job is to make sure they know it. 💜
The UAE gets something most places don’t: you can honor your roots while building for the future.
Attended the @sharjahef this weekend. Met Gen Z founders preserving Arabic dialects through AI. Learned why global scale isn’t optional here—it’s built into the strategy from day one.
Highlight: Saw @TeamKhabib speak with the same humility that made him legendary.
This is what happens when culture fuels innovation instead of limiting it.
Lost a pitch comp last week (lol) . Had to embrace the @nabs_labs mentality of “Winners lose more than losers do.”
Friends and other ppl told me that it was a learning experience, not a loss.
Kind sentiment but that’s false.
It’s actually both, loss and learning are not mutually exclusive. Sometimes, to fully understand and appreciate that something is an opportunity for learning we must first acknowledge that there’s room for improvement.
Pitch comps are crash and learn at its finest. Can’t wait to get back in the ring for the next one 🥊🥊
This semester, I grew as both a research writer and a volunteer instructor at the Boys & Girls Club of Boston.
Teaching AI + entrepreneurship to high schoolers each week reminded me that knowledge only matters when it’s shared clearly, accessibly, and with empathy. Watching students bring their ideas to life was the highlight of my semester.
This work also reshaped my research—grounding my writing in real community experience and reminding me why impact and communication go hand in hand.
Grateful to Professor Kristi Girdharry for building a course that bridges writing, research, and real-world engagement. Grateful for the students for reminding me why this work matters.
Onward. 🚀
“May I meet you?” is Peak Cringe. @elonmusk this has to violate some sort of community standard for lameness.

Samosas are not EVER supposed to have spicy pumpkin.
Literally any filling is acceptable: veggies/meat
This is not a latte.

Thanks @hfangca ❤️ - I’d love to host you sometime on @Clubhouse for a conversation about how we get more young women into the #bitcoin movement. You are an inspiration!!😍😍
