📈 Tuesday the SwapKit deal paid back 8.9x. $108 of discounts given out, $959 of fees earned on them. 2,682 swaps. Best day since the thing went live and nobody even posted about it 🙃 Growth that funds itself beats growth that funds a marketing budget. $RUNE raynalytics.net/dashboards/r… Shoutout to @raynalytics for the detailed stats.

Ever wondered what actually happens when you swap on THORChain? Here it is in under a minute 👇

I hosts THORChain core dev @cbarraford and @tayvano_ on the Bitget hack: what a Mimir vote can and can't do, the per-chain signing halt three nodes could trigger, and who collects the fees when DPRK swaps to BTC. Monday 3:20pm ET

The first-ever $ZEC transaction on @THORChain : thorchain.net/tx/D35549CA7CB… Kudos to the whole community! 🙌 $ZEC holders now have decentralized access to native $BTC , stablecoins, and other assets through the world's leading Bitcoin DEX.
The $ZEC pool is now live on THORChain. The network churned and every node is watching the Zcash chain. @Zcash now has a truly permissionless venue. Trading is the next step. Liquidity is shallow for now and will grow over time, so trade with caution in the early days.

This is cherry picking at best, a false equivalency at worst. Either way it wreaks of AI slop. All tools in existence are inherently neutral by nature. It is the man who wields the tool that decides whether they will use it for good or for bad, and you cannot blame tools for the actions of men. The slop compared THORChain swaps to “active signing events” to imply there are people waiting in the wings to rubber stamp transfers of criminal proceeds, but that’s not what happens at all. When a BTC txn gets signed by a criminal, Bitcoin miners can unplug their miners to prevent it from being mined. Ethereum miners can unplug their validators to prevent it from being mined. Thornode operators can unplug their thornodes. In all 3, there is no active choice to sign, only an active choice to turn off the machine. When internet routers route criminal requests and responses, their operators can “actively” unplug the routers too. Microsoft can delicense the OSes used by criminals, and Dell can unlicense the hardware used by criminals. But they don’t. Why don’t all these participants turn their machines off to stop the hundreds of criminal transactions? Because doing so would also stop the millions of legal transactions too. There are far Far FAR more legitimate reasons to use Bitcoin, Ethereum, routers, switches, computers, OSes, and THORChain. These are all neutral public goods. We should not ban cars because a criminal used a car. We can’t ban knives because a murderer used a knife. All tools in existence are inherently neutral by nature. It is the man who wields the tool that decides whether they will use it for good or for bad, and you cannot blame tools for the action of men.

Forget the CLARITY Act. Our industry needs to spend the next two years showing Americans why crypto and stablecoins are better than what they use today. Cheaper payments, money that moves on weekends, earning yield on your money. Benefits people actually feel. If Washington changes hands, taking those benefits away should be a political nightmare. Make crypto useful enough that people fight to keep it.

The churn finally happened. Monero and Zcash are getting closer to launch.⚡️
.@THORChain has successfully churned again after more than two months. A major technical hurdle cleared as monero:native and $ZEC move closer to activation. Well done to everyone involved. ⚡

We will get THORChain into this index one day. Need 3 main things first: 1) THORChain covered by Lukka 2) THORChain data on Artemis 3) Market cap over $500M

Every CEX will pass on native XMR, compliance risk, delistings, regulatory optics. That's not a bug, it's what makes the DEX layer necessary. Assets the regulated world won't list need infrastructure it doesn't control. @THORChain is that infrastructure.

Galaxy Research projects x402 payments reaching 30% of Base daily transactions this year. Sit with that. It's not more DeFi volume. It's agents paying for data and services. The counterparty isn't a human. If you're building for users, you're already missing half the market.

Why is @THORChain the natural fit for AI agents? An autonomous agent can't KYC, so a CEX is a non-starter. It needs permissionless $USDC and that points straight at THORChain.

x402 lets an AI agent pay for things. USDC over HTTP, no checkout, no account. But paying is half the job. The other half is the agent actually moving value across chains, BTC to ETH, no custodian, no KYC. x402 settles a stablecoin payment. It doesn't settle a cross-chain swap. That leg is @THORChain.

All privacy coins should be trading on THORChain before July 2027. $ZEC, $XMR, and $DASH are coming soon in that order. On deck are $FIRO, $ZANO, and $ARRR. Did I miss any? What other tokens should be on THORChain?
NEW: The EU's new AML regulation, taking effect July 2027, caps cash payments at €10,000, bans anonymous crypto accounts, and requires regulated providers to delist privacy coins.
