A rare interview with Hollywood legend BELA LUGOSI shortly after he left a sanitarium in the mid-1950s.
He speaks openly about his struggle with narcotics addiction (which began with pain medication), his time in treatment, his efforts to recover, and upcoming work with Ed Wood.
A fascinating look at a somewhat fragile man who’d once been one of horror’s biggest stars, and now late in his career was trying to get back on his feet.
Kevin and Randy are facing a tough situation after a contractor left their home in pieces, and they’re now living without a kitchen. They need $17,000 to rebuild and recover from unfinished work and missing items. Even a quick share can help this story reach someone who may be able to support. It might be obvious why we give the orphans milk. But coconut oil? It is full of healthy fats and helps condition the skin for the youngest orphans. Not all the orphans like their spa sessions – Mbegu famously hated the stuff at the beginning and would try her hardest to wriggle away (a feat made much easier by the slippery stuff).
Wangalla has been much happier to partake – this was one of his sessions back in June. Discover why he’s in our care: sheldrickwildlifetrust.org/o…

Remembering the multi-talented Angela Lansbury, #BOTD - whose talent was equally at home whether in film noir, Broadway musicals, or television. An early glamour portrait from 1945.......

Our home is in pieces after a contractor left us with an unfinished, damaged kitchen, and we’re really in need of help. Kevin, a disabled veteran, and I, Randy, are facing mounting costs to rebuild what was lost—$17,000 for a new kitchen, plus replacing missing cabinets and countertops. Your support can help us restore a safe, functional space and bring stability back to our home during this tough time. Please consider sharing or donating if you can—every bit helps us move forward. gofund.me/5e6353f87

THE THIN MAN ('34) co-stars Star of the Month Myrna Loy and William Powell appeared in more than a dozen films together from 1934 until 1947, making them one of the most prolific screen pairings of all time.
Of their 14 films together, which is your favorite?

Almost looks like a Jack O’Lantern. 😳
While observing the universe, @NASAHubble caught a galaxy cluster smiling for the camera. 😊
The smile lines are arcs caused by an effect known as gravitational lensing, where massive structures warp spacetime with their powerful gravitational forces and act as a cosmic lens.

The scum of the earth is coming to Grand Island Nebraska tomorrow. He should be boycotted. They’ve done absolutely nothing for Nebraska. Farmers and Ranchers here are losing their properties and suffering because of Republicans. They are not doing their jobs. VOTE BLUE.

Here’s the deal! All the polls show a massive blue wave on November 3! BUT, POLLS DO NOT VOTE, PEOPLE DO! You must ALL vote to make a change. The last day to register to vote in many states is Monday October 5. You can register online at vote.gov It is simple, quick and easy. Please get registered TODAY and out to vote on November 3. I will be voting by mail-in ballot which I have done for 25 years. BUT, I will not put that ballot in the mail. Instead, I will drop it off at a safe and secure drop box at City Hall. I encourage you all to do the same. Get out and Vote Blue to save our country. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸💙💙
