I remember when the Conservative Party was also voting against Ukraine A vote against Ukraine is a vote for Russia Never forget that
Bob Rae on realizing the post-World War II order was over: "Russia, the United States, Belarus, North Korea, a lot of bad actors, were all voting on the same side against us and against Ukraine."

Unsurprisingly, there are almost no Russian-made components in Russia's new Geran-4 drone. While Chinese parts surprise no one, how a Texas Instruments onboard computer got there is a major question.
RFE/RL takes apart a Russian Geran-4 drone to uncover what makes the jet-powered unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) faster, harder to intercept, and capable of operating deep inside Ukraine -- from its turbojet engine and advanced camera to foreign-made communications and navigation components. @cxemu @radiosvoboda

This is happening in Canada as well.
My books on the links between anti-science and antisemitism. The connections are not immediately obvious and take some explanation as I’ve detailed in my writings. This is a dark and difficult topic, which accelerated during the pandemic. So many of the smear campaigns against me and other scientists in even numbered election years appeal to their base by targeting scientists making outrageous claims of me making virus with Soros or Rothschilds. This is bread and butter for the Murdochs and NewsCorps and Fox News. The stuff they write about me in their rotten tabloid newspapers or broadcast on Fox is god awful

Why can I say that RFK kills kids? Because there are only two outcomes in the coming years (statistically "no change" is impossible) (a) more kids get vaccinated --> more survive/stay healthy (b) less kids get vaccinated --> more die/get sick RFK --> (b) he's done NO (a)

Once again, on a Sunday, Donald Trump has announced new negotiations with Iran that "will end the war soon". He's done this every Sunday for the last 212 days, and he does it to manipulate the stock market and enrich himself. His voters are too stupid to see it.

From Sept. 27 to Oct. 1, 1918, the Battle of Canal du Nord was fought. The Canadians were tasked with crossing the Canal du Nord, breaking the German trench systems and capturing Cambrai. Six Canadian soldiers received the Victoria Cross. This is their story. 📸 LAC 🧵 1/8

“Anywhere in the world, this choice of targets would be called by one word – terrorism.”
Today alone, and in Kyiv alone, Russian jet-powered drones “vanquished” two kindergartens and two schools, an ordinary residential building, an auto repair shop, several warehouses, and communications facilities. Anywhere in the world, this choice of targets would be called by one word – terrorism. Russia has no military objective whatsoever in doing this – it is purely an attempt to break people and inflict as much harm as possible on our society. Tragically, there are people killed… My condolences to their families and loved ones. Dozens of people were injured. Overall, since yesterday, the Russians have used 277 attack drones of various types, 155 of them jet-powered. Among the damaged sites is also a building used as the residence of the Saudi Arabian Ambassador. In the Dnipro region, a sports school is among the damaged facilities. In the Sumy region, the building of a regional children’s home was damaged. If Russia were truly preparing for any real steps toward de-escalation – as it claims, particularly to American negotiators – this wave of “shahed” terror would not be happening. And we need to take a sober view of the situation. Russia knows how to send the kind of encouraging diplomatic signals that the world simply wants to hear… It knows how to send such signals in order to delay tough steps by the world in response to the war. In America, the important Lindsey Graham sanctions and tariffs law has already reached the implementation stage. It is a law that can change a lot for the better if fully implemented. This law needs to be implemented – and everyone in the world can see that there is EVERY REASON to apply it and A CLEAR PURPOSE for doing so. We are counting on effective decisions from the world and stronger pressure from our partners, so that Russia sees that manipulating diplomatic signals will not allow it to keep winning more and more time for war and terror. It is important that our other partners in the G7 and G20 also take a principled stance. New sanctions packages are being prepared – specifically targeting financial networks, supply chains for components and equipment used in the production of Russian weapons, and specific companies and individuals primarily involved in the production of Russian ballistic missiles. The new sanctions must take effect as early as October to provide a stronger foundation for changing the situation and pushing Russia toward real diplomacy. Thank you to everyone who helps Ukraine! Thank you to everyone working 24/7 to provide greater protection for Ukrainians and our state!

“Constables Jeff Smith and Mike McCurdy are true heroes who showed extraordinary courage that night. They put themselves in harm’s way, saving the lives of many and preventing an unimaginable tragedy”
One week ago, our City was shaken by a hate-motivated attack targeting Belleville’s Jewish community at the Sons of Jacob Synagogue. In the days since, we have seen the very best of Belleville. We have seen our community come together during a time of great difficulty, an outpouring of gratitude and recognition for Constables Jeff Smith and Mike McCurdy and all of the first responders who answered the call that night, and unwavering support for our Jewish community. As we reflect on the events of last Sunday and the impact they have had on our city, we are clear that there is no place for antisemitism, hate or violence in Belleville. Everyone deserves to feel safe in our community and in their place of worship. We stand firmly with Belleville’s Jewish community and all those who have been impacted by this horrific act of hate. Constables Jeff Smith and Mike McCurdy are true heroes who showed extraordinary courage that night. They put themselves in harm’s way, saving the lives of many and preventing an unimaginable tragedy. We are incredibly proud and grateful to have them serving our community. Our thoughts remain with Constable Smith and his family as he begins his road to recovery from the serious injuries he sustained in the line of duty. In the face of hate and violence, Belleville responded with compassion, strength and unity. We looked out for one another, stood together and showed what it means to be a community. To Belleville’s Jewish community, Constables Smith and McCurdy, our first responders and everyone impacted: Belleville stands with you. ❤️

🟥 Dear Canadians ✍️🏼, I’ve been around the block. I’ve learned much and mentored many. Allow me to give you some simple advice that will save you a lot of time. If you go out on a date with somebody. 🍽️🌹 And that person, mentions any of the following: “WEF” “Globalists” “Make Canada Great Again” “The pandemic was a hoax” “Klaus Schwab” “Climate change is a hoax” “Trudeau should be in jail” “Brookfield!” “Alberta must separate” “Poilievre would be an excellent PM” “Canada should not be part of the UN/WHO/NATO” “I love Trump” “Ukraine should give Russia what they want. It's their fault that the war keeps going.” “Canada is broken” “Carney is unelected” Those terms are the red flags you need to immediately depart and not waste a further second of your time. 🙅🏻‍♂️ Life is too short. ⌛️ You’re welcome.

Ford cut 215 nurses from Ontario hospitals this year. ❌15 registered nurses left Oakville Memorial Hospital due to overcrowding and safety issues ❌Hamilton Health Sciences plan to cut 413 jobs Funding is not keeping up with rising costs so each year there are more staff cuts.

Historian Margaret MacMillan: "I think democracy is by no means dead. A liberal world order where we actually try and work with each other is by no means dead. I think what PM Carney has done is absolutely extraordinary. He has given voice to concerns and he's also laid out a plan for the future, that the middle powers do need to get together."
