BREAKING: Mass Shooting Plot Targeting Sri Venkateswara Temple in Aurora, Illinois, Foiled
A 19-year-old suspected white supremacist, Alexandros Paporakis, has been arrested for allegedly plotting a mass shooting at a Hindu place of worship in Aurora, Illinois.
Investigators say the suspect had been planning the attack for two years and allegedly targeted Indians and South Asians.
Police recovered an AR-style rifle, ammunition and tactical gear.
A potentially devastating hate-driven attack may have been prevented.
Paporakis worked as a cashier at a Taco Bell in Arlington Heights for nearly seven months.
According to a co-worker who spoke to investigators, Paporakis regularly made racist remarks, particularly targeting Indians. He openly identified himself as a white supremacist and frequently spoke about Nazis and armed struggle.
People also forget that despite centuries of wars and upheavals, India is still here, building temples to the same gods our ancestors worshipped thousands of years ago and chanting Vedic hymns passed down for millennia. Our philosophies, traditions, languages, and cultural heritage continue to thrive, and our influence still stretches across Asia. Empires came and went, but Indian civilisation is still thriving!

The built environment is politics made visible and it speaks who the govt serves by what it chooses to build.

Fact check: true
India v China on Twitter :-
1. China tweets AFTER achieving something. India tweets claiming it will achieve something in 10-20 years
2. China tweets videos and actual pictures of factories and foundries. India tweets generic pics from Google
3. Chinese statements are made by Professionals from the Industry who know the facts. Indian statements are made by MPs, MLAs, Random Ministers and Random celebrities who have no clue about the facts
4. Chinese Statements are cautious even after achievement. Indian statements are wildly exaggerated even though no achievement has yet happened
5. Chinese achievements are never credited to the CCP or Xi Jinping. Every Indian future achievement is linked to BJP, Ram, Hanuman Chalisa or Narendra Modi
6. Chinese blame themselves for any failure. India blames everyone from Rahul Gandhi to Aurangzeb for their failure
7. China doesn't care about responding to India. India always responds with some outdated 1990 photo on China or some random 1950 statistic on Great Leap Forward that happened 70 years ago
Same thing again and again

In 2002, an IIT Kanpur civil engineer working as an IES officer wrote to Prime Minister Vajpayee, exposing corruption in the $10 billion Golden Quadrilateral Corridor - India's biggest highway project.
Designed to construct 14,000 km of 4-lane expressways connecting Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, and Kolkata, it stands as the modern bedrock of Indian infrastructure.
He left his letter to the Prime Minister's Office (PMO) unsigned. Knowing the deadly stakes, Dubey attached his credentials on a separate sheet with an explicit instruction:
"Before moving the file, please remove the attachment containing my particulars to ensure secrecy."
But the PMO did not redact that information. It forwarded his complaint down the ministry chain with his identity attached. His name reached the very people he had exposed.
One year later, on his 31st birthday, Satyendra Dubey was shot dead outside Gaya railway station by the mafia.
They called it armed robbery. His family never believed it. The men who ran the murder racket were never touched, even after a CBI probe.
His death led to the Whistleblowers Protection Act in 2014. It was never brought into force, and it still doesn't protect a whistleblower's identity to this day.
His father, a poor sugar mill clerk with 7 kids, spent his entire life’s savings to raise an honest son who went to
@IITKanpur and then joined the IES to serve the nation.
On November 27, 2003, instead of celebrating Satyendra’s 31st birthday, that old man received his son’s bullet-riddled body in a wooden box, forced to weep over the casket of a hero he spent a lifetime raising for a country that wasn't brave enough to keep him alive.

Gen Z has such a bold, almost selfish attitude sometimes.
My cousin wanted to study in another city, but her parents wanted her to stay because she’s their only child and the fee was really high.
She basically told them, “If you don’t send me to the college I want, I’m not going. Take a loan against the house or mom can get a job. I don’t care. And make sure you send me enough money every month. I want to explore and enjoy life too, not just study.”
And somehow, her parents managed everything and she got to go.
And before leaving, she casually said, “I also want to throw a party for all my old friends, so I’ll need money for that too.”
As a millennial, I could NEVER. 😭

Most of the stereotypes about India in Western countries are true.
The reason you get defensive and try to push back is because you don't fit in those stereotypes and it infuriates you to be judged by the lowest common denominator. You push back because you confuse Bharat, the great ancient civilization, with modern India, the democratic socialist republic, and passionately fight for the sacred honor, philosophy, and heritage of the former, entirely ignoring the crude realities of the latter. You reject the humiliation of a collective reputation you did nothing to create, refusing to be grouped with the lawless, the uncivic, and the vulgar when your own values are entirely at odds with them.
But you're part of the quiet minority. The harsh truth is that the rest of the country, the overwhelming majority, simply does not care. They are a hopeless, unreformable mass of selfish, ignorant, and shameless parasites who lack even the basic capacity for self-reflection. Operating on a primitive threshold for crime and corruption, they are far too pathetic and lazy to care about rules, progress, or the public good. They would eagerly wallow in filth, chaos, and shortcuts just to satisfy their immediate personal greed, leeching off the system while leaving the few civilized people like you to carry the dead weight of a demographic dividend that lacks the decency and dignity to ever grow up.
