A convicted felon who prosecutors say led Arkansas State Police on a chase through Fayetteville has been sentenced to 150 months in federal prison. Steve Robinson, 31, was sentenced after pleading guilty to being a felon in possession of a firearm. Authorities say a trooper tried to stop his vehicle in January, but Robinson fled, eventually became stuck in snow, and ran from the vehicle. Officers arrested him and recovered a 9mm handgun from his jacket, according to federal prosecutors. The case was investigated by Arkansas State Police, the Fourth Judicial District Drug Task Force, Springdale Police, ATF, and other law-enforcement partners. They told reporters their daughter gave her baby girl to the baby's father around 6 p.m. Monday — and they hadn't heard from him since.
