Today, I'm boycotting League of Legends. This game has been my career for many years now, and not only has it been the main source of my income, it’s also been the main source of my passion for much longer than that. While I have in the past taken time off the game when I didn’t enjoy it as much, this is the first time ever that I’m taking time off because of their management decisions. Just so you understand, I’m playing in the NAOQs tomorrow. Practice and scrims, as well as bettering my level of skill on champs I’m not practiced on should be my priority, above all else. Instead, I’m prioritizing this. Immediate growth to my stream / skill level is not nearly as important as securing good leadership decisions from Riot would be. While most would say that a one day boycott does nothing, that sentiment couldn’t be further from the truth. With this boycott, albeit short, we’re showing Riot that when the time comes, we, as a community, are willing to unite against the corporate greed that threatens the livelihood of OUR game that we’ve spent so much of our time playing and supporting. Then deciding to backtrack on decisions that they knew would be harmful towards their player base merely because the fallout was even more harmful does nothing to address the real issue… Their mentality towards their players. We are not just pixels and numbers on a screen that can increase the CEOs reputation in front of the shareholders; we are people who have spent large parts of our lives with a fixation on the game that has given a countless number of us a countless amount of cherished memories that will last in the perpetuity of our memories. To ensure that those memories don’t become a mere thing of the past, I urge Riot to truly listen to myself and many others when I say these next words; Your mentality towards us is a repulsive infection that has shown itself to us in its most disgusting form over the last few weeks. While you may think that a damage control response is enough to placate us, I’m here to tell you that you couldn’t be further from the fucking truth. We’ve allowed, for the longest time, your upper management to be increasingly lazy and unresponsive to the true needs of the community, but I hope that these next few words dispel the notion of that trend continuing from your minds We’ve had enough. It’s time you take an actual stand at truly making this game better for everyone. Organizing local community events for your players across the coast, monthly check ins with your content creators and high elo player base to gauge game direction, and the removal of your predatory Gacha system are the starting point of what should be your crusade at making League of Legends great again. And I truly hope you understand that this comes not from a place of malice, but rather of love. A love for a game that I’ve played for years, A love of a passion that has been all-consuming of my entire life, And a love for what I see League of Legends could truly become. If any Rioter wants to privately reach out so that I could further explain my ideas on how to truly make League succeed, rest assured that a private dm will always remain private. The community does not want to stand against you. They want to stand with you. But for that to happen, you need to make the changes that make this game worth standing by. This can be the start of something beautiful if you allow it to. Thank you for reading.

🚨MAP HACK IN TOP LADDER WILD RIFT🚨 1) One of the top-ranked players on the leaderboard has been using map hacks, blatantly violating the game’s rules, and going as far as offering and selling these cheats to others on public Discord servers.

I haven’t tweeted about the Faker clip yet because obviously I’m the “T1 hater guy” so anything I say on the matter will be viewed through that lens. But I really don’t like seeing people who are outside the team calling for his benching or using the clip as evidence that he needs a break. Faker is an ultra competitive person who clearly vented his frustration in a suboptimal way but as someone on the outside looking in you cannot make the judgment on what is best for his mental health. I could definitely see a world where the most damaging thing to his mental health could be a restriction on being able to play with his team. The guy has shown how much he cares about competing at the highest level and taking away the most important thing to him could not be the right solution. I believe he should be spoken to and evaluated by people close to the team and everyone should respect the conclusion that the he and the team/mental health professionals come to. He’s the GOAT of our game and I’d hate to see a moment of frustration define his future.

In #Wildrift people are suffering from the dragon sickness. Their belief that dragons are important drives them mad forcing them to die over and over again for a measly buff that doesn't even matter. Watch the truth and spread it to cure the playerbase youtu.be/tmkmFVz1TuI

Alois is the goat for perfectly explaining the issue. This is why I always say not going TP in toplane is complete grief 90% of the time. Not having TP makes you so much more reliant on "rng factors". You have close to no response to a wave pushing in, the enemy jungle can come, clear vision, DOESNT EVEN NEED TO GANK, and thats enough of a threat to make u lose 1-2 waves. You can also get dove for taking a "good trade" and many more. A good toplaner will win the lane off of those 1-2 waves. So taking TP helps you fix waves and lose as little as possible, and have the chance to have impact after minute 10. In toplane you have lets say 5-10 windows to "really" punish the enemy top in minutes 1-14, if you get closed off these chances because of enemy jg playing around top, it becomes very hard to carry and stomp games. Hence why barely any toplaners have gotten rank 1 recently, they see you are high on the ladder? They camp you, and make the game as unplayable as possible, because when u are high rank, you on average will play with lower elo players compared to the enemy team (obviously) Anyway quick toplane rant. Amazing vid @AloisNL
Yesterday I laned against @Drututt and I won lane without him even making a single mistake. People complain that toplane is a broken role. Whilst I agree that the items and champions can be extremely oppressive and "broken", I want to take you guys through my thoughts why I believe that toplane in general simply has less impact than other roles. Unless you're versing an opponent that is inferior to you, you are mostly going to be reliant on Matchup and jungle mercy instead of just 1v1 laning. Whilst this is also true for other roles, as a toplaner on an island you don't get any other options in the game and you're just spectating for 20 minutes.

If you go dragon instead of herald you are literally trying your hardest to lose in #WildRift Learn how to clear your jungle camps and stop thinking dragons are relevant - they are disgustingly useless and need buffs DESPERATELY
