A day of hard knocks. Bad news for those around me left right and centre. It’s hard to watch and absorb. Their lives are imploding and I really can’t help them but want nothing more than for them to help themselves or have the grit to make it through okay. I can’t save them.

Empathy without boundaries is self-destruction. Unconditional love doesn't mean unconditional tolerance. You gotta train your boundaries to be stronger than your soft heart and your mind to be stronger than your feelings. Otherwise, you'll be drained. So be kind and take no sh*t.
Learning to have empathy for other people who are disappointed and having problems but to not take them on as my own or need to solve them for them (esp at my own expense). Growth!
