Never Back Down: No Surrender (2016) Directed by and starring martial arts icon Michael Jai White, Never Back Down: No Surrender (also known as Never Back Down 3) is a direct-to-video action sequel that shifts the franchise away from its high school roots and into the world of mature, professional mixed martial arts. The story catches up with Case Walker (Michael Jai White), a legendary, old-school former MMA champion who has deliberately stayed out of the mainstream spotlight. Case prefers low-profile regional bouts, refusing to sign with major promotions that turn a blind eye to performance-enhancing drugs. His life takes a turn when his old friend, former UFC heavyweight champion Brody James (played by real-life MMA fighter Josh Barnett), convinces Case to travel to Thailand. Brody has signed a massive fight deal with Primortal Combat—a sketchy league run by an unscrupulous promoter named Hugo Vega (Esai Morales). Enjoy your Cinema 🎬🍿💯
