FWIW, a previously scheduled meeting between all PGA Tour players and Tour officials began at 4pm ET. The Mickelson statement was released 2 minutes after the meeting began.

Played today with a 6 handicap golfer, nice chap and a good golfer. He must have repaired at least 3/4 unrepaired pitchmarks on every hole as well as his own.

Why golfers don't repair their own pitchmarks as a matter of routine is a mystery to me.
