Day 10 of making a post apocalyptic game until a new single player fallout game exists Today we moved from a simple home brew engine to the Blazium engine! Overall it is still a bit rough, but I'm pretty happy with the progress so far, its playable and a bit of fun :)

A real database in your game, no server required. Blazium's SQLite3 module gives you prepared queries, transactions, savepoints, WAL, async backups and chunked BLOB access, from a scene node down to raw SQLiteAccess. indiedb.com/engines/blazium-… #BlaziumEngine #SQLite #gamedev

Two devs, one Blazium project, same time. The Multiuser Editor module merges GDScript edits with CRDT buffers, syncs files by diff, shows ghost cursors, and gives you Host, Editor and Viewer roles. indiedb.com/engines/blazium-… #BlaziumEngine #gamedev #opensource

Kick streamers get a native path too. Blazium's KickAPI module pulls channel, livestream and user data from the Kick Dev API in C++, runs headless for bots, and pairs with TwitchAPI for multi-platform support. indiedb.com/engines/blazium-… #BlaziumEngine #Kick #streaming

Hundreds of indie games can release in the time it takes a player to finish one big game. That’s why discovery matters so much now. There is always something good getting buried somewhere. #indiegames #gaming

There are too many good indie games for anyone to keep up with anymore. Which is simultaneously an amazing problem for players… and a terrifying problem for developers. #indiegames #gaming

You have to pick: A beautiful indie game with average gameplay OR An ugly indie game with a mechanic you’ve never seen before. Which one are you actually playing? #indiegames #gaming

When I say the whole point of PokeIndie is helping small devs get recognized, I mean it. ❤️ I don’t just post games on X and move on. When devs ask, I actually play their games and try to give useful, honest feedback that can help them improve. PokeIndie is still basically a one man operation, with a little help from a friend. We launched only a month ago and already have 128 games published. I genuinely believe this can become one of the best communities for indie devs and players. Thank you to everyone who’s been part of it so far. We’re just getting started. Repost this so more developers can get help from us 🚀

I tried to avoid politics and current events, just to live in my own little world at this point my life, but this 911 transcript is heartbreaking, it's hard to read without a bit of your soul dying. Only marry someone you can trust to love and care for your progeny
