They can't make a StarCraft 3 RTS because StarCraft 2 is still a professional E-sport and they won't make the pro players learn a whole new game.
StarCraft 2 also wrapped up the single player storyline quite nicely.
A StarCraft shooter COULD be good if old Blizzard was making it but I have no faith in new Blizzard
StarCraft 2 concluded the story so the new shooter appears to be a prequel set between StarCraft 1 and 2. I don't like prequels.
I miss the days when I used to get excited by Blizzard announcements.
