🚨 SINGAPORE ADVANCES TOKENIZED CENTRAL BANK SETTLEMENT October 19, 2026 | Institutional Blockchain Infrastructure The Monetary Authority of Singapore has outlined its next steps toward bringing tokenized financial assets and central bank money onto shared settlement infrastructure. MAS is working to settle tokenized MAS Bills using wholesale Singapore dollar CBDC, building on its earlier interbank settlement trial involving DBS, OCBC and UOB. Its Global Layer One initiative is also developing interoperability and programmable compliance standards for institutional blockchain networks.
