Thank you, friends, for sticking with us on this incredible journey. This 49ers season wouldn't have been as thrilling if it wasn't for the conversations we had here. What a fun ride that didn't end the way we wanted. Stay faithful. One day it will be our day.

Al Guido is believed to be representing the 49ers at today’s NFL owners’ meeting. Jed York has not been spotted to this point.

This is so tough. The team last won the #SuperBowl 29 years ago and that drought continues. That's three SB appearances in a row that the #49ers could not win. This team was so talented. They had all the ability to win this one. They didn't get it done. This sucks.

49ers take the lead on a FG. Now the defense has to stop the Chiefs.

What could have been disaster. But KC penalty saves the 49ers.

Maybe it is best to let KC get the ball first. But now it's pressure on the 49ers to score a TD on this drive.

Warner called tails and lost the toss to open the game. So go heads? Maybe.

Get the first down. Don't want to settle for a field goal.
