Want wie de wetenschap wel serieus neemt denkt : holy shit we hebben NU een oplossing nodig. Niet iets wat eerst nog ontwikkeld moet worden, maar iets wat we nu meteen kunnen doen. Eerst het probleem onder controle krijgen, daarna zien we wel. Dus eerst kerncentrales bouwen, wat niet leuk is en niet ideaal, maar je moet eerst de planeet redden en daarna kun je aan de gang met je leuke idealen.
Maar links wil de planeet niet redden, links wil zijn buren de les lezen. En daarom geloven ze er aan de rechterkant ook geen bal van. Want die voelen op hun klompen aan dat ze voorgelogen worden met schijnoplossingen. Als je geen serieuze oplossingen hebt, gaan mensen vanzelf denken dat het probleem ook niet serieus is.
