“Heaven isn’t for people who’ve been perfect; it’s for people who’ve been forgiven, who choose Christ again and again.” – Sister Tamara W. Runia #GeneralConference #GreaterLove

It is not our physical appearance, political views, culture, or ethnicity that brings us together in the Savior’s Church—The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
It is our common objective, our love for God and neighbor, and our commitment to Jesus Christ and His restored gospel that unites us to be “one in Christ” (Galatians 3:28). That is what Christ’s true Church is all about. #GeneralConference
The Buc-ee’s Strip would the best strip of any strip in the world. As a Texan and as a Buc-ee’s-aficionado and fan of clean bathrooms- I support this!
No single Congress member has had more of a profound influence on me than this man. Ron Paul just might be the greatest person Congress has ever had.
This is an important information when evaluating and considering arguments and evidence for yourself as well as chatting with others.
But this is not the only thing to consider. Continue learning about logic and logical fallacies, correct and false premises (a premise is the underlying proposition or meaning of a statement or argument.)
Once you learn about logic, logical fallacies and psychological/mental resistance like anchoring etc and try to break arguments down. Listen. Learn. Watch or read your favorite and least liked sources and find their logical flaws.
As you do this you will be able to see how and where you are being irrationally manipulated and persuaded. Learn what a bad faith actor is. Their traits and if they have a history of acting in bad faith.
After acquiring knowledge and developing these skills- know this is not all-
If you haven’t already, learn how God speaks to you personally. Pray. Ponder. Follow the Golden Rule. Find like minded truth seekers. If you have a family faith tradition, start there and continue. Personal revelation and together with the aforementioned skills will protect you from the traps and lies from the world around you.
It’s not a perfect formula but you can avoid following the Pied Pipers off the proverbial cliff so you and your family might be preserved from the enemies to your family and enemies to your soul.
