I guess facts go viral 🤔
Reminders: A&M was the first public institution of higher education in Texas. The WSJ ranks A&M #1 in Texas and the SEC. A&M’s yearbook was named the Longhorn, prior to the mascot in Austin. A&M’s Gig ‘em came before Hook ‘em. Bonfire came before the Hex Rally. More ⬇️

Add having a Corps of Cadets to the list. It’s embarrassing at this point how big of a Stan they are for the Ags. nitter.cf/RandaftDook/status/204…
First, they make up a thing called ‘Cowbell Yell’. Now, they do a ‘Ball 5’ chant. They want to be A&M so bad.

College football’s most carefully guarded secret is the amount of money flowing to the players on each roster. So we reached out to 70 sources across the sport. Estimated budgets for all 68 teams: nyti.ms/4xwoPqe

We were told the big difference in the offense this year would be moving the pocket allowing Marcel to run more and throw on the move. Where is that?…..

So let me get this straight… There is the broadcast clock that we see on TV, which we know is unofficial. Then there is the game clock in the stadium that all the players, coaches, refs, and fans in attendance use to determine game time. But wait, there is a THIRD clock that ONLY replay officials see. And we’re being told that is the official clock? GTFOH
NEW: The Big Ten has released a statement on the controversial Michigan walk-off Hail Mary against Western Michigan: “Following video review, it was determined Western Michigan’s #18 started his jump from an established out-of-bounds position (left foot) and made contact with the ball with one second remaining on the clock. As shown in the provided video of what was viewed during the replay process, a side-by-side view of the play and the game clock, using a direct shot of the game clock in the stadium, was used to determine the final ruling. Eighty-five minutes prior to the game, all broadcast cameras used for the replay system, including the camera on the game clock, are synced using a strobe system to ensure all cameras are aligned. Per NCAA Football rule 4-2-3-a, “A ball not in player control, other than a kick that scores a field goal, is out of bounds when it touches the ground, a player, a game official or anything else that is out-of-bound, or that is on or outside a boundary line.” and thus the clock is stopped.” (via @bigten) on3.com/news/big-ten-address…

At what point can college football fans sue for watching a rigged product that’s sold as otherwise?

Terry McAulay: "The ball isn't even close to touching a player when it goes to zero... Their Hawk-Eye system apparently had a different sync... I don't see how that happened, assuming our clock is correct... The ball is clearly still in the air when the clock goes to zero..."
The mind-blowing, controversial Western Michigan-Michigan finish. Noah Eagle, Todd Blackledge, and rules analyst Terry McAulay have the commentary on the stunning scene for NBC. 🏈🦓🎙️

Just a reminder that all this started because L$U hasn’t beaten A&M in a major sport in ~800 days. To try to end the losing streak vs. the Ags they decided they needed to recruit pro players.

They call us Texas 8&4 for some reason. But I guess it could be worse. We could be The University of 5-7. 🤘🔥

Whether you think it was a red card or not, the VAR did not follow protocol by using slow motion. That was the issue here and why it is likely getting suspended. #USMNT

According to the Laws of the Game a red card via VAR can only be handed out for: * Denial of an obvious goal-scoring opportunity * Serious foul play/reckless challenge * Violent conduct, biting or spitting * Using offensive, insulting or abusive language No, that wasn't a red.

There has never been a player in the history of professional or collegiate sports — in any sport, at any level — who has been caught gambling on his own team and not been banned for life. Why exactly is Brendan Sorsby the exception?

Path to Supers Difficulty This takes who each team faced in the regional round and adds up the total TSR faced by that team. Oklahoma facing Georgia Tech three times is the hardest path out of anyone. Even though Auburn lost game one, they still had one of the easier paths.
