One of the things I find deeply distasteful about this (and similar things like Canary Mission) is that the people it is targeting are private citizens engaged in completely legal civic engagement on volunteer, unpaid basis.
So itās a paid effort to dig up dirt on and defame ordinary people.
Even if you set aside the fact that the thing theyāre being smear on the basis of is participation in an organization which an absolutely majority of Democratic voters express a favorable opinion of, thereās something deeply Orwellian here even if DSA werenāt as popular and legitimate an actor (as measured in objective terms by elected offices won in free and fair elections) as it is.

What they told me confirmed what other soldiers have said publicly that most of these soldiers injured in the attack did not receive proper medical care in Kuwait, in Germany, or during their initial days back in the U.S. The U.S. Military has been fighting wars in the middle East for 25 years. Why was proper medical care not immediately available to these injured soldiers, and why were they not immediately screened for traumatic brain injuries?
