Being a sex worker isn't a job. It's a lifestyle. What you don't see behind the scenes: - answering messages while peeing/showering/existing 🥴 - trying to eat your first meal of the day at 8p but someone cold calls on video/phone chat - if you're sick, that's just too bad. Either pretend you're fine for your call/custom or forfeit work - a large number of SWers in the US do not have health insurance - talent testing is forkin expensive and they have a monopoly on the market - literally just took a shower after a messy request and immediately after the shower ends someone else wants you to get messy again 😭 (my constant phrase is "I'm just a dirty bitch!") - consistent trial and error when creating content...because filming content is a lot more complicated than you think - typically SWers do this 100% on their own: filming, editing, posting, replying, camming, Etc. Some of us have supportive spouses but those are NOT easy to come by - romantic relationships take more work and communication than an average relationship - there is never an "off" day unless you set hard boundaries. HOWEVER, an "off" day can absolutely hurt a survival SWer - seasoned SWers make it look easy. It's not a get-rich quick scheme. It takes constant dedication and watering your garden to see serious returns
