We thought that the Crime Branch would arrest the accused as soon as possible, but so far, no one has been arrested in this case. On the contrary, Sahil himself is being made the accused. We thought that the Mumbai Crime Branch works quite well. But where is the Crime Branch falling short in this case? Is the Crime Branch conducting an investigation or an inquiry? Because under the Atrocities Act, Section 18A says that no preliminary inquiry is required. No permission is required for arrest.
