🔥 This #WorldEnvironmentDay,we need to talk about who is most affected by rising heat—and who is being ignored.
Across India, gig workers delivering for Amazon, Swiggy, Zomato, Blinkit & Zepto are being pushed to work in extreme heat, with little to no protection or support.
Over 11,868 heatstroke deaths were reported in India (2012–22). Many were outdoor workers like
@zomato @Swiggy delivery partners.

Tip generously. Offer water. Ask how they are. Kindness is climate action.

Imagine working with no fixed pay and hours
and having no access to clean drinking water,
toilets or shade; this is how millions of Indians
work every day. Be kind and respectful to the
delivery partners who work tirelessly to fulfil
your needs! #CoolDeliveries
Another disaster in the making. Heavy rainfalls dams are dangeriously full. Regulate water at Sardar Sarovar Dam to 134 meters. Dont allow villages and crops to be submerged again and again. #NarmadaFloodAlert #SaveNarmadaValley #OpenSardarSarovarGates
