Defend Our Juries: solidarity with Trudi Warner
Thu 18 April
Join us at this London vigil & rally. Recent attacks on jury independence include preventing them from hearing about defendants’ motives, on pain of being charged with Contempt of Court. Info: defendourjuries.org/
Some climate activist defendants who stated motivations were charged, even imprisoned. Jurors told they must ignore motivations. But our law allows juries to decide according to conscience, as this Old Bailey plaque shows! Support Trudi Warner.
