RVNL's growth journey is evolving by design, with a stronger and more balanced order book shaping the way forward.
In FY 2025-26, the Company's portfolio reflects an almost even balance between nomination-based projects of approximately ₹45,000 crore and competitive bidding projects of approximately ₹45,000 crore, contributing to a total order book of ₹99,262 crore.
This transition represents a deliberate move towards a more diversified and resilient business model, where no single source of work, sector or client defines growth. The focus is increasingly on transparent, competitive opportunities and a future-ready portfolio, while retaining the strength of RVNL's established project base.
A more balanced portfolio, a broader growth base and a strategy built for long-term resilience.

RVNL which is executing agency for part of the Chennai Metro Rail Project has been appreciated by Chennai Metro Rail Limited (CMRL) for achieving a significant construction milestone under the UG-03 (Underground Package-03) at Kilpauk Medical College under ground Metro Station.
The RVNL team successfully completed five slab pours at a single station during September 2026, reflecting efficient planning, focused execution, seamless coordination and sustained progress in this technically challenging underground metro project.
The Certificate of Appreciation to RVNL was presented by Mr. Archunan T, Director (Projects) CMRL, and received by Mr. Dhanapal, Chief Project Manager-II, RVNL Project Implementation Unit , Chennai, in the presence of Mr. Anthony J. Burchell, Team Leader, General Consultant.
The construction of the project is progressing well overcoming challenges.
The achievement reinforces RVNL’s commitment to delivering complex urban rail infrastructure with quality, efficiency and timely execution, contributing to the development of modern and sustainable public transport infrastructure in Chennai.

Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) continues to strengthen its focus on employee development and capability building.
In FY 2025–26, skill-upgradation training coverage rose significantly from 10.62% to 86.83%, with 837 employees receiving training. Health & safety training also covered 23.65% of employees, reflecting RVNL’s commitment to building a skilled, capable and safety-conscious workforce.

Strengthening Project Execution.
RVNL organised a Conference of Chief Project Managers (CPMs) heading its Project Implementation Units (PIUs) across the field units on 1 October 2026 at Darjeeling, West Bengal.
The conference brought together RVNL’s project leadership for focused discussions on project execution, technology adoption, quality, safety, fast-track implementation, inter-unit coordination and key project priorities for advancing the organisation’s ongoing infrastructure initiatives.
The platform facilitated the exchange of field-level experiences and best practices, review of project priorities, and strengthening of coordination across RVNL’s diverse project network, with emphasis on quality, safety and timely delivery of projects.
