Q2: Anyone who is an improver who sticks their head above the parapet & challenges the status quo, should be praised & acknowledged, even if the changes they tested don't work. That praise shouldn't just come from leaders but from researchers/evaluators, who rather than "judging" the improvement should recognise the contributor of the improver.

Hospitals have Maternity Voice Partnerships to help improve maternity services. They are powered by the voice of service users. They're a good place for VCSE organisations to start engaging with your local hospital - great tip from Faiza @RahamProject #hmpartnershipnationalmeetup

The voluntary sector is very well placed to hold up a friendly mirror to the health services to show where harm is being done, where adaptation can happen, and how to do things better. You can help that reflection process - Faiza Rehman @RahamProject

The VCSE community can help overcome this by building trusting relationships with ambassadors from these communities, and shaping your services around that trust. @RahamProject #hmpartnershipnationalmeetup
