How can anyone listen to this vessel of the Most High—Pastor Philip Anthony Mitchell and still call him a false teacher?
This is the very same man I have been listening to for over three years. A man whose love for God and reverence for His Word are evident in his consistent call for the body of Christ to pursue holiness, walk in righteousness, and prepare for the return of our Lord.
There is a sincerity and authenticity in his devotion to God that is difficult to overlook.
Y’all need to move beyond the familiarity of lifeless, churchy sermons and genuinely come to know God for yourselves.
Spiritual discernment is cultivated through intimacy with Him and a growing knowledge of His Word. The more deeply you know His character and His truth, the better equipped you become to discern what is of Him and what is not.
You cannot afford to substitute familiarity with church culture for genuine intimacy with God.
Learn His Word.
Walk in His ways.
Cultivate a relationship with Him.
Because knowing God is fundamental to discerning truth from error.

🚨BREAKING: The man who shot and killed the 16-year-old gunman inside Silver Rail Elementary School in Bend, Oregon, has been identified as Kaylub Giamanco, a father whose two daughters attend the school.
Giamanco, 36, a carpenter, was driving home on his lunch break Thursday when he heard gunshots near the school. He saw the suspect moving toward or entering the building, followed him inside, and fatally shot him in a special education room before police arrived. The first 911 call came in at 12:59 p.m. The school went into lockdown at 1:01 p.m. Officers confirmed the suspect was dead, cleared the building, and began treating the wounded.
The gunman, identified as John J. Griffin, 16, forced entry by shooting through locked doors with a shotgun. He killed three children, ages 5, 8, and 11, and one teacher. A 7-year-old and a 54-year-old teacher were critically injured. The suspect’s death brought the total dead to five. Police have not released the victims’ names.
Giamanco’s family says he is not seeking recognition and feels guilty he could not stop the attack sooner. President Trump called him a hero who took care of business.

This might be one of the WILDEST plot twists in the entire Bible and most Christians have never heard of it.
Check this out.
There were two significant requests Moses made to God that were denied.
First. In Exodus 33, Moses asks God, “Show me Your glory.” But God tells him, “You cannot see My face, for no one may see Me and live.”
Request denied.
Second. In Deuteronomy 3, Moses begs God to let him enter the Promised Land but because of his disobedience and failure to trust God, God tells Moses he will not enter.
Request denied again.
Now, fast forward to the New Testament. In Matthew 17, Jesus is transfigured on a mountain, and the Bible specifically tells us that his face shone like the sun.
And guess who suddenly appears there with Jesus?
Moses.
Think about this. What is Moses finally seeing?
He’s seeing… the face of God.
The man who led the first Exodus and delivered his people from the bondage of Egypt is standing face to face with the One who would accomplish a greater Exodus, delivering sinners from the bondage of Satan, sin and death.
The man whose face was radiant because of God’s glory (Ex. 34:29) is standing face to face with the One whose face radiates God’s glory (Matt. 17:2).
In Deuteronomy 18:15, Moses tells the Israelites that God will raise up a prophet like him and commands them to “LISTEN TO HIM.”
In Matthew 17:5: God the Father speaks to the disciples about Jesus and says “LISTEN TO HIM.”
But wait… there’s more.
Where is Moses standing?
He’s standing… in the promised land.
The very two things Moses had once been denied, God allows him to experience in the presence of Jesus.
Two takeaways.
1. Sometimes God answers our prayer requests in ways that we do not expect. Whatever he has to offer us is infinitely better than anything we could ever imagine.
2. Our failures may have consequences, but in Christ, they don't have to have the final word.
That’s why Moses’ failure didn’t have the final word.
God’s grace did.

I want a court to say that Title IX protects ALL girls' sports the way it was written to, and I want to never be forced onto a court against a biological male. I also want any girl in America to be told ahead of time what she is walking into.
I stand with Briley.
My dad and I filed a federal lawsuit this week, and I want to explain it in my own words.
Last September, my varsity team played a match without being told who we would be competing against, and our lawsuit says the adults in charge knew a day ahead of time and kept it from us and from our parents.
I believe girls deserve to know the truth before they step into the locker room, and not after.
Thank you to everyone who has supported our family, and to Thomas More Law Center for taking our case.

Meet the Oregon hero who used his concealed carry gun to stop a shooter at his daughters’ school

Lord, have mercy.
I know how it feels to think you’re going to be murdered.
Long story incoming, I’m shaken and unable to sleep so trying to get it all out.
I headed to my brothers to watch my 13 year old niece tonight since my sister in law was out of town and my brother had to go on shift last min.
I got there later than I had planned because I wanted to make her dinner and bring it over… so it was dark when we sat down to eat the house was rather dark as well … they live in an area where you don’t just pull up to houses and the parcels are 10-20 acres, rural.
30 min after I got there a man pulled down the drive and turned his lights off , he had a flashlight and started looking in the windows/we then heard him trying to enter what we believe to be the garage… we locked all the doors we could find (this house is huge)… I caught a glimpse of his face and we didn’t know if there were more of them because she said she heard voices , I was on the phone with 911 so I didn’t hear that.
We ran to a back bedroom downstairs where there is sliding glass door and l locked the bedroom door… I didn’t know if he/they were on the deck as it wraps around the whole house so we didn’t go out the slider yet ... I could not get to the gun because it was in a place where he was trying to enter from what we could hear.
He was pushing on a door in the back of the house as we hid behind a bed next to a sliding glass door, the banging kept getting louder we were in absolute terror. … I was begging 911 to hurry and we believed he had made entrance so I said LORD JESUS WHAT DO I DO…I knew the answer was…RUN…. We opened the sliding door and ran into the dark both of us barefoot holding hands crying and falling screaming at 911 to hurry not knowing if he/they were behind us because we couldn’t see.... Fell down hills over and over and finally got to another house maybe 1/4 a mile away and banged on the door to let us in. The sheriffs showed up about 15 min later , the chopper was searching the neighborhood and he got away but I saw his face and his car…. This is condensed because I’m in shock still. I’m scared still.
I thought I was going to die tonight. Please pray for my niece, this was a traumatic event and I know we will never forget that fear or how it feels to feel like you are going to die by murder... my niece was not quiet as she was in yelling in fear “Jesus don’t let us die” and the door he was trying to enter was feet from the sliding glass door so I don’t know what his intentions were but I do know he must have heard her and didn’t stop.
I don’t know if there were more than one. I don’t know if he saw me and followed me or saw her or if he was trying to rob the house, all I know is the Lord Jesus Christ was with us as we ran through the dark pasture, he was there when prayed aloud together for him to save our lives huddled behind a bed in a corner before we ran. I knew that if he did enter that he was going to have to kill me so she could run, and I knew that I was going to meet Jesus if that happened.
Please pray for us all. I don’t know if I’ll even sleep but thank you Jesus, had I gotten there 30 min later she would have been alone.
God bless the El dorado country sheriffs who showed up so fast, surrounded the house , searched the pasture guns drawn and calmed my sweet niece.
Thank you Lord Jesus. THANK YOU.
My brother showed up to hold his daughter 👇🏻😭

Twelve hours before my son Mitch was killed, he called me.
It was the best conversation we'd had in over a year. He told me he wanted to come home, live with us again, and go back to college. Then he told me he loved me, and I told him I loved him too.
Twelve hours later, he was gone.
For a long time, that phone call felt like the cruelest part. It seemed like God let me believe everything was going to be OK, and then took my son the same day.
There's a name for what happened in my brain. It's called cognitive tunneling. After all these years, I recently learned the name of it from a post by Jim Kwik @jimkwik , author of the book Limitless.
Under trauma, your attention narrows to one terrible point, and you lose the rest of the picture. I've described it as a camera zooming in so far that it can only see a small part of the world. I've felt it and written about it, but now I have a name for it, and that's healing.
A while after Mitch died, a chaplain friend sat with me in the hospital chapel and told me to do the hard work of looking back at that day from a different angle. So I did.
On the very last day of Mitch's life, we were connected. He was looking forward to coming home. And that same day, he went to his eternal home.
That phone call was a gift God gave me to hold onto.
The third commandment of self-brain surgery is that I must believe that most of my automatic thoughts are untrue. Grief hands you a story fast. You're allowed to look at it again.
"The LORD is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit." Psalm 34:18, ESV.
If you're in that tunnel right now, I'm so sorry. Look again. It's hard and holy work, and you don't have to do it alone.
Save this for the next time hardship has you too zoomed in to see other things that are still true. Share with a friend who's in the tunnel.
And follow me to connect the dots between neuroscience and faith to help you navigate life and find flourishing.
