He would never catch up to Yuri not in his bulky armor. So he did what any sensible knight would in that moment. He shook his fist and yelled at the sky while drenched in water.

“Rightly so. I am not a fan of the desert environment. The sand is coarse and gets everywhere. I still feel the sensation in boots from time to time”.

“Finally someone with a shred of common sense”, Flynn said. He had almost given up hope with the survivability of this ragtag group.

“Yuri!”, Flynn chases after the black haired man while water from his jug bounces and splashes causing glittering sparkles like a beach episode only way worse.

“Don’t run Yuri! With how dehydrated you are, you will surely fall from heat syncope!” Flynn rushes toward his childhood friend jug in had splashing violently.

“That all depends on you Yuri”, Flynn replied flicking the lid off with his thumb. “Water is essential after all”.

“Yuri… I thought when you had left the imperial city you would learn to take better care of yourself”, Flynn replied in disappointment. “You leave me no choice”, he added reaching for the personal gallon of water he carried with him.

“Understood. If you are ever in need of assistance make sure that you reach out to imperial knights”, Flynn replied oblivious to true nature of the being in front of him.

“Absolutely, speaking of, is there something that I can help you with?”, he said with a friendly smile.

“Of course! The wellbeing of the empire’s citizens is arguably the most important responsibility of a knight”.

“As an imperial knight it is my duty to remind you to stay hydrated during these harsh heat waves”.
