There were 3 other people at Mass in addition to our family. Father gave a homily for father's day and spoke directly to our children. At the end he had all 2 fathers present come to the front for a special benediction. It was honestly one of the most moving masses I've ever been to.
Maybe black mothers should be more aware of aiding to quell the violent tendencies of their sons so their sons don't go to a track meet and stab someone in the heart, and get sent to prison for murder as a result of her shitty parenting. Just a thought.

I've read the Outlander series since I was 19. I've watched every episode of the show for years and repeatedly. This last season has felt rushed and emotional and very much like we've been Game of Thrones'd. That said, I am listening to the series score today in anticipation of the series finale that drops late tonight. Then I'm making a gin and tonic with my Sassenach gin and planning on crying.
I don't care how vapid you think this is. If you haven't read the books then you just don't know how big this really is for Sci fi and history nerds like me.

Yesterday, @AlphaNews posted a video of an individual who, along with several others, harasses our church every Sunday. (I am not reposting the video because of its obscenity.) By their own admissions, as captured on video, these agitators are deliberately targeting families and children. It is a coordinated effort to desecrate our Sunday mornings.
St. Paul officials are doing nothing to stop it, and the City Attorney will not respond to my emails. We are simply asking for equal protection under the law.
