There's always trepidation when a "Sydney" horse ventures to Melbourne for the first time- particularly to Caulfield which had been a graveyard for the likes of Kingston Town & even the NZ's Sunline. Not so Warwoven in the Caulfield Guineas with Rachel King up-slayed 'em!

I love looking at this photo because it shows just what a beast of a horse Jigsaw is. Look at that depth of girth, massive rear end, powerful chest' short strong neck - just great ingredients for a thoroughbred.

Have to give a shout out to Josh Rodder of the Melbourne Racing Club who made a point of bringing Warwoven over to the public area after the Guineas. Great moment for the fans.

Can't say this bloke and his band didn't give 110% to fire up the crowd before the Guineas. Loud and inspiring - got everyone's attention and zipped out of the way handily before the main stars arrived on the scene.

Well, there's a trend hitting racing at the moment and it is the number of young males at the track. And who do you think they follow? JMAC. It's a racing bromance of Bridget Jones proportions.

Give him his due - led throughout, broke the track record, knocked off the next big thing. That's Land Legend.
