Those field notes are mostly for my own benefit, but if you're new to running an agent swarm, you might want to read them.
Or just tell your Chief of Staff to read them, and report back to you, advising you on whether these notes are worth paying attention to or not.
You might even want to schedule a monthly loop to learn from them, or something.
Anything worth doing is usually not easy anyway.
Often simple, but not easy due to requiring consistency and systemic thinking.
Anyway, you should still do things, because you can.
Not because they’re easy, but because they’re worth doing. And because no one else will do them.

Still rebooting from last night
One thing I kept hearing:
People weren’t surprised that AI films could look good
They’d been distracted by the “AI slop” narrative online from how good the filmmaking is becoming
Then 10 films we put on a cinema screen told a very different story
Different genres.
Different filmmakers.
Different techniques.
Different ways of telling stories
When the lights came up, some people needed a minute before they could even tell us what they thought
Which made me wonder:

Main reason why language learning will always matter, even with automated translations in real time.
You can’t beat the kind of mental workouts which come with daily conversations in multiple languages.
Am I the only one spending more time interacting with agents than with humans these days?
I do interact with lots of humans <8yo though.
What I wonder is when they will roll out a dashboard for agents creators to know exactly how many people are using their agents.
This is something which was never done properly with custom GPTs, so I hope the X and Cursor teams will learn from that.
I definitely trust X/xAI/Cursor teams to do a much better job than OAI anyway.
Looking forward to seeing where all this goes, 2027 should be a very interesting year when it comes to agents and agentic workflows in general.

Well, agents will automatically pick X money as an alternative to most banks, so keep this in mind when you invest into something.
NFA, just do your own homework or ask your agent to explain all this to you.
Imagine a world where just in time principles and kaizen where the norm in education.
With AI augmented learning and proper supply chain management and procurement, taxpayers could save billions in no time.
Yeah, all that’s needed is a simple inventory management connected to specific learning goals and outcomes.
Education will be so much better when AI augmented learning is the norm for everyone.
The main thing that’s getting in the way for me right now is that when we want to get into electronics etc. we need a solid inventory system and supply chain management. It’s hard enough with craft supplies as it is, and it will get much more complicated when we work on more ambitious projects. It’s one thing to get copper tape, LEDs and batteries, it’s another one to then get DC motors, resistances, etc.
This fall, do discuss school related issues with your family members and loved ones.

One of the main reasons why schools can still get away with underperforming is because too many adults forget to check tabs with their peers.
At our family celebration of mid autumn festival last night, my cousin bemoaned how 6th grade math was not changing for her child. The teacher assured her that it’ll pick up, but it hasn’t. This is in a so-called “screened” program.
We have two problems in many classrooms, even at good schools: heterogeneous grouping and low standards. Both cheat smart kids.
Underrated comment.
If you see there’s something deeply wrong with your kid’s school, don’t wait for a few months for things to get better.
Don’t ignore red flags and trust your gut.
Today’s curriculum: 6yo is watching “once upon a time: space” while 4yo has her swimming lesson and 1yo is experimenting with Lego and physics.
This afternoon kiddo #1 and #2 will be playing at a fall festival while #3 naps.
They will also be spending time playing with grandparents and reading with us.
