Very few people realise that the vast majority of hospice and palliative care is provided by charity - not by the NHS. I think this is a national scandal. Please RT if you do too 🙏
In this interview with @skynewsniall, Dr Rachel Clarke (@doctor_oxford) emphasises the need to prioritise quality end of life care. Regardless of Parliament's decision on assisted dying, fixing the funding of our struggling hospice and end of life care system is essential.

A few points… 1. ‘Through the back door…’? I think you’ll find they’ve been quite clear from the get go on this matter. Hence the name LGB Alliance. They’d have been absolutely NO NEED for them, had you not decided to wage an extremely aggressive, abusive gender-based war against us 10 years ago. Shhht. We have the receipts…. 2. ‘So called’? Whom do you think they speak for? Antelope? Biscuits…? Who? 3. ‘Drop the B…’? Wouldn’t happen. Why? They’re same-sex attracted. Ping! Next? What’s baffling to is why this & many other accounts like it, are so DEDICATED to preventing same-sex attracted people from having ANYTHING pertaining to their needs, & are so seemingly distraught at the idea that we might want the right to self-assembly & win back our spaces, that they are actually PRETENDING they care, after spending years actively denigrating us & making sure we understood that we’re not wanted. One would have thought they’d be whooping with delight at this news… perhaps they now realise that attempting to force, silence & abuse those of us who had legitimate & important questions, was a severe tactical error…? (I did say ‘perhaps’……) Another case of ‘if we can’t have it, we’ll make darn sure you can’t either…’
Through the back door, the so called LGB Alliance have been pushing to divorce the T from the LGB. They feel this is the first signs of them being successful, and they hope this is a sign that it will happen. I wonder… How long before they then drop the B?

Dear @BBCNews I really don’t want to rain down ca-ca on your hourly drag queen dispatches, as you’re clearly in thrall to the “trans umbrella”, but here we go… Drag, broadly speaking, originated from the theatrical/vaudevillian world. It is a vocation. Or a job, if you’ve actual talent. The most famous in recent years including Lily Savage, Edna Everage, Divine, Danny La Rue, Regina Fong, Hinge & Bracket etc. To pull it off successfully you needed to have talent, a genuine flair for comedy & be able to have a two-way rapport with your audience. The crucial element was that it was clear to both performers & audience alike that you were not attempting to ‘be’ a woman, but that you were very much a man, in often exaggerated & flamboyant feminine costumes. The point THEN was NOT to denigrate or ape women in a derogatory sense, as is the case for so many “drag performers” today, who seem to believe that mocking, crudely imitating & sneering AT women is the point. All that displays is a gross lack of skill or talent, & a complete misunderstanding of its origins. ‘Vogueing’, ‘throwing shade’, runway competitions, bouncing your groin onto the floor, legs split apart owes more to the success of Ru Paul’s show, which lends more than a passing nod to the different runways & tea dances of, for example, the House of LaBeija, founded in ‘68 & ‘Ballroom’ sub-culture, in general. At the end of a drag queen’s show, the costume comes off, as does the wig & make-up. The performer remains resolutely male (or female if they’re a drag king.) I’ve skipped much history, and been very broad with my basic explanation but drag queens belong under the “trans umbrella” about as much as a fishmonger or an oral health hygienist does… Which, let’s face it, isn’t very much… Hopefully now, you’ll be able to focus on others who genuinely DO need to be supported, protected & aided. Please RT. Strangled account. As per. 🙏

This is a genuine plea, David. NOT an attack. You’re a highly regarded actor with a huge reach &, rightly, a vast audience. Whats “common sense”, is to actually attempt to comprehend that there ARE real life consequences to one group demanding immediate access to ALL the hard fought-for & won rights of another group. Of course, people can “live their lives as they wish to & be free to be who they are”, but the MOMENT that desire impacts, concerns & overrides OTHER groups of people, those groups have a perfectly legitimate & reasonable right to take issue & have THEIR SAY. We were told “No Debate! It’s happening whether you women, gays, transsexuals or detransitioners like it or not!” What did you think would happen? They’d just roll over & acquiesce?? Perhaps you should rejoin social media, instead of relying on others, & actually HEAR the thousands & thousands of personal testimonies by those who ARE DEEPLY affected by changing rooms, sports, toilets, prisons, hospitals, r*pe shelters , the right to self assembly, etc. Are you aware that gays & lesbians are no longer permitted to have their own bars, clubs, apps, ANYTHING of their own, without being picketed, screamed at & threatened? Are you aware that women are intimidated, attacked & called the most wretched things when they gather together to discuss issues pertaining to THEM? Are you aware of the distinction between transsexuals & TRA’s, and that the radicals refer to transsexuals as “truscum”? Are you aware of the huge increase in detransitioners, their lives irreparably damaged, who are also treated as traitors & apostates by many Q+/TRA’s? Because until you TRULY understand what the consequences are, your “allyship” is doing more harm to so many, than you could ever realise. And directly to many of us, who are now on the receiving end of the worst homophobic & misogynistic abuse I’ve encountered since the AIDS crisis of the 80’s. Being “critical” of something does NOT equate to “hate”. It’s simply being critical because they’re are legitimate reasons. This fight is NOT about taking away anyone else’s rights. We’re all agreed that trans rights are human rights. However, there is NO AUTOMATIC HUMAN RIGHT to impinge, intimidate, threaten the rights of others. This is about PRESERVING & PROTECTING women’s rights. Their privacy, their spaces & their dignity. And just so you know, watching YET another man publicly telling a woman to “shut up” comes across as familiar, unpleasant & just misogynistic. I’m not saying this to put the boot in. I’m saying it because I know you believe you are doing this with the best of intentions & you’re not st*pid. But I, respectfully, ask you to REALLY consider & research the other side of this debate & the consequences for many others. We didn’t all suddenly become “right wing bigots” overnight. There are very good reasons to question decisions made by a lobby group, which achieved its aims back in 2014, & now suddenly treats as “pariahs”, females, gays, lesbians, transsexuals, whomever, who vigorously championed their cause until their new direction caused the very unease they themselves predicted publicly. (See Ruth Hunt). I wish you well. Congratulations on your award. Scotland's Hate Crime Act comes into effect today. Women gain no additional protections, of course, but well-known trans activist Beth Douglas, darling of prominent Scottish politicians, falls within a protected category. Phew! 1/11

🎉🌼🌸April Fools! 🌸🌼🎉 Only kidding. Obviously, the people mentioned in the above tweets aren't women at all, but men, every last one of them. In passing the Scottish Hate Crime Act, Scottish lawmakers seem to have placed higher value on the feelings of men performing their idea of femaleness, however misogynistically or opportunistically, than on the rights and freedoms of actual women and girls. The new legislation is wide open to abuse by activists who wish to silence those of us speaking out about the dangers of eliminating women's and girls’ single-sex spaces, the nonsense made of crime data if violent and sexual assaults committed by men are recorded as female crimes, the grotesque unfairness of allowing males to compete in female sports, the injustice of women’s jobs, honours and opportunities being taken by trans-identified men, and the reality and immutability of biological sex. For several years now, Scottish women have been pressured by their government and members of the police force to deny the evidence of their eyes and ears, repudiate biological facts and embrace a neo-religious concept of gender that is unprovable and untestable. The re-definition of 'woman' to include every man who declares himself one has already had serious consequences for women's and girls’ rights and safety in Scotland, with the strongest impact felt, as ever, by the most vulnerable, including female prisoners and rape survivors. It is impossible to accurately describe or tackle the reality of violence and sexual violence committed against women and girls, or address the current assault on women’s and girls’ rights, unless we are allowed to call a man a man. Freedom of speech and belief are at an end in Scotland if the accurate description of biological sex is deemed criminal. I'm currently out of the country, but if what I've written here qualifies as an offence under the terms of the new act, I look forward to being arrested when I return to the birthplace of the Scottish Enlightenment. If you agree with the views set out in this tweet, please retweet it. #ArrestMe #AprilFools #HateCrimeActScotland 11/X

How We Got Where We Are. A Personal Observation. 1. After, homosexuality was decriminalised(1967 for UK, 1980 for Scotland & 1982 in N. Ireland), after decades of being arrested, beaten up, feared, loathed, truly marginalised, after HIV wretchedly & terrifyingly tore through the lives of so many, LGB people (same-sex attracted) gain gradual tolerance, then acceptance, & then equality. We enjoy a relatively peaceful 10-15 year period. 2. Then the Alphabet Soup inexorably limpets themselves to the LGB, despite having NOTHING to do with being same-sex attracted. Not better, not worse. Simply unrelated & different. 3. Said Alphabet Soup begins to tarnish any gains that have been made by disingenuous revisionism, extremist activism, fetishes performed in public & normalised, wages war on women & LGB people &, worst of all, actively involves & indoctrinates other people’s children. Thus creating huge resentment, & inviting an ever growing & dangerous backlash. 4. Homophobia massively increases. Alphabet group attempts to blame LGB & women, who become vocally critical of how this affects us all. They refuse to compromise or debate. Division & anger rises. Alphabet group continue to try to constantly control the narrative & demonises all those who object. People are dragged through the courts for years (almost always eventually vindicated) but the damage is immense. As usual, the process is the punishment. 5. Women’s rights & gay people’s freedoms to assemble as they choose are all under serious threat. Alphabet group continue to prioritise themselves over disabled, elderly & virtually every other vulnerable group, with zero self-awareness, encouraged by institutions, “allies”, celebrities & social media. 6. They gain huge power through sponsorship, social media, mainstream media, advertising, the education system, the government, lobby groups etc. Yet still claim they are the ‘most marginalised’, whilst being indulged & revered in almost every Western country there is. 7. Misogyny, which never went away, spirals out of control. Homophobia does not discriminate between the ideological zealots & others simply just attempting getting through day to day life. Transsexuals, who believe in biological reality & detransitioners, who were used as guinea pigs when very young, are also demonised & chastised. Women & girl’s private spaces, sports, clubs, privacy & dignity, are under siege. 8. The briefly peaceful atmosphere is now utterly torn apart, ripped to pieces by flimsy & highly suspect ideologies & a rampant loathing of women. Many of those who once supported us have now turned their backs. Many recognise the distinction between those who are simply LGB & the rest. But I fear, in time, the narcissism & the arrogance of this TikTok gender generation, who’ve been manipulated & lied to, will be our undoing. 9. Of course, I’ve not covered everything. The money Big Pharma reaps for lifetime medication, & surgical procedures, instantly affirming young people’s confusion & torment (all natural) & putting them on an irreversible course of ‘treatments’ & surgeries. “Allies” who support this movement without true comprehension of the consequences, or who simply follow blindly, because they choose to take a 4 years old child’s vivid imagination & word as gospel, because they have been taught that being called ‘non-binary’ involves extra attention & special privileges etc. etc etc. 10. This is where we are now. Uncomfortable truths are inconvenient, I realise. But this is exactly how we ended up where we are today. It’s bleak, I know. But we have no choice but to keep speaking up. We didn’t start this bonfire. But we remain bloody determined to watch it burn itself out. Please RT. As my account is still being restricted. 🙏 @Jebadoo2 @FredSargeant @andrewdoyle_com @MrMennoTweets @QueensSpeechUK @HeadWarriorTWM @BarryStill2 @RorgViking @Glinner @bindelj @jo_bartosch @suzanne_moore @JamesEsses
