Thank you for a great conversation about many aspects of the strong cultural ties between 🇵🇱 and 🇬🇧! There is much we can do to further our cooperation and I and @BritishCouncil look forward to it all!
I had a productive meeting with @RachelLaunay, Director of the British Council in Poland, to discuss UK/Poland Season 2025, language teaching, and academic collaboration—key areas for strengthening UK-Poland ties and creating new opportunities.
This is wonderful digital record of our work over the last 90 years. Let’s celebrate this incredible milestone for @BritishCouncil and @plBritish 🙌🏼🙌🏼
For 90 years the British Council has worked to develop relationships between the UK and countries worldwide, creating connections, understanding, and trust to support peace and prosperity.
Our team has created a wonderful ‘digital timeline’ looking at the highlights of our history over the decades. You can see it here: britishcouncil.org/about-us/…

An honour to host @joannamucha this week at @TheEWF and just brilliant for this global audience to hear the 🇵🇱 perspective @ukinpoland @plBritish
Today, @joannamucha, Secretary of State at the Polish @MEN_GOVPL, participated in one of the panels during London’s Education World Forum 2024. Secretary Mucha provided insights and the 🇵🇱 perspective on the topics of AI, resilience, and climate education. 📚
Hitting the big screen @joannamucha holding the attention of a global audience of ministers @TheEWF with a clear call to action 🇵🇱
More challenging questions from Minister @joannamucha speaking @theewf
Who are the leaders of change? We or our children? How about if we switched roles? Surely young people’s skills in AI are more developed and their sensitivity to climate change more acute?
Final plenary @TheEWF in London with Polish Deputy Minister of Education, Ms Joanna Mucha talking about educational priorities for Poland 🇵🇱
- implementing skills-based learning, building resilience, supporting Ukrainian pupils & climate change 💚
Students learn best from teachers they love. …..could be obvious, right? But when @SchleicherOECD shows you this on a graph @TheEWF from statistical research it’s pretty powerful. @plBritish
How will AI change education? How can we help & prepare teachers to prepare young people to be future-ready?
@TheEWF is where this is being debated. @BritishCouncil @plBritish
Arrived at the @TheEWF venue in London. Looking forward to meeting Polish Deputy Minister of Education, Ms Joanna Muchaa and colleagues from @PolishEmbassyUK too!
Back in Manchester and so happy to stumble upon @PLinManchester doing amazing work between 🇬🇧and 🇵🇱
