Rain chances are more focused on the morning hours, continuing into the early afternoon. So they’ll race but I think a little rain may be possible early. Cup also has the wet weather package available

It’s pretty interesting to watch these showers come over the mountains south of the track and not be physically impacted by them or the downslope since they are so elevated. It’s also a bit funny that the ground clutter on the radar from the mountains is nearly the same dbz as the showers.
