한국에서 비인기 고령 수입차 (일명 "수입썩차")를 1년 반 동안 굴려 보며 느낀 점 - 사설 정비소는 물론이고 공식서비스센터조차 아는 게 많지 않다. 경비 시스템이 가끔 작동하지 않아서 문을 열지 못하는 문제로 공식을 찾아갔더니 사제 경보기 같다고 뜯어보고는 순정이라는 걸 뒤늦게 깨달았던 일도 있었다. 누구의 손에 맡기더라도 이 차에 대해 전혀 모른다고 믿으면 90%는 맞다. - 차령이 오래되었다고 유지비가 절대 싸지 않다. C30은 국내 아무 정비소나 찾아가서 구할 수 있는 게 사실상 전혀 없고, 수입차 부품 전문점에서 비싸게 구매해야 한다. 중량, 크기, 가격 문제로 해외 직수입의 관세나 배송료가 비싼 부품들은 차라리 국내 업체들에서 사는 게 편하다. - 위 문제를 모두 고려하면 부품 하나하나의 설치에 민감할 수밖에 없는데, 대부분의 정비소들은 고객 회전율을 확보해야 하므로 토크값 따위 신경쓰지 않고 임팩트 렌치로 모든 볼트와 너트를 박아넣는다. 이것을 가능한 피하려면 직접 정비할 수 있는 지식을 갖추고 셀프정비소에 찾아가서 반나절을 통째로 써야 한다. 하체, 브레이크, 흡/배기 정도까지는 할 만하지만 밸브나 타이밍 커버를 떼는 순간부터는 어설픈 기술로는 하루만으로 되지 않을 것이므로 엔진과 전기에 대해서는 어쩔 수 없이 정비소에 맡겨야 한다. 그리고 이런 때에 가장 필요한 것이 이 희귀한 차를 잘 아는 희귀한 정비소이니, 많은 곳을 돌아다니는 시행착오가 필요하다. 한 번 인연을 만들어 두면 언제든 믿고 찾아갈 수 있게 된다.

Don't be afraid to use 3D models in your 2D drawings. 3D features are in Clip Studio for a reason. Not everyone has the necessary brain power or time to reference several pictures of varying sources. It's not always superior to rawdogging by hand, but it saves a lot of effort especially for hard surface objects. It would benefit a lot from Blender or any other 3D modeling software if you know how to use them, but even if you don't, there are tons of models in the asset store that you can grab for free (or with points if you check in regularly). There is no dignity in commercial art. Only how fast you can cook good stuff with whatever tools are available to you.
