In Baltimore, @DrTishCommish says we shouldn't be planning Thanksgiving gatherings. AT ALL.
This is the strongest public health advice against gatherings that I've seen since Easter.
"Black software developers lost more than 36,000 jobs, a decline of more than a third. Their white counterparts lost 14,000 jobs, a 2% decline."
Check out this article about the May jobs report and racial disparities, especially in tech.

Watch this. It shows why we should all do the right thing and stay home to the fullest extent possible. All of us can help slow the spread of the virus, protecting the elderly, the vulnerable, and each other. washingtonpost.com/graphics/…

I'm thankful for @TheLancet and their articles on COVID-19. Here's one that definitely worth a read: thelancet.com/journals/lance…
BCBS Anthem denied coverage for my daughter's flu vaccine - flagged “not medically necessary” and I’m supposed to pay $83. This is her third doctor visit in a row we've been overcharged. I have to waste my time getting them to fix it. 1 of 1000 reasons why I want #MedicareForAll

Marilyn weighs in on the @rwenderlich site discussion of Kitura Vs Vapor. For further info on this topic check out a great article by @brian_schick here: raywenderlich.com/1323930-va…
In honor of @rwenderlich 's birthday today we put together a little tutorial so that people could learn how to correctly pronounce his name.
Today Texas v. US will look at whether we'll keep protections for those with pre-existing conditions. New senate bill 3388 on this topic sucks, but AHA explains that in a nicer way: newsroom.heart.org/news/sena… So please go scream at your senator at your earliest convenience. Thanks.
Our Kitura video course by @dokun24 drops tomorrow. I certainly enjoyed editing it. Was a little sad though to have to cut out all the dance moves.
My review of our recent conference: I had a blast @RWDevCon 2018, but this was our first year without Mic. I hope we can fix this in time for the next RWDevCon and have @micpringle back as a speaker/my drinking buddy #bringbackMrPringles #sadabouttheMicdrop

Looks like @kevindavmoore, @catieMeow, and @jessyMeow had fun this week in the RW studio. Not sure what they're working on, but as always I have my fingers crossed that it'll include some interpretive dance!
