Thank you. I wasn't hungry when making it. I based the animation after this video. youtu.be/X-8MP7g8XOE
It wasn't until I finished rendering that I realized it looked like popcorn.

The Cochlea looks like a snail shell and detects sound. At the other end is the three semicircular canals, which detect rotational movement of the head. In the centre of the labyrinth is the utricle. Which detects gravity and changes in movement allowing you to keep your balance.
The inner ear is another #fascinating piece of human #anatomy. Not only does this small structure detect sound, but it also helps you keep your balance. To see where the inner ear fits within the skull, keep reading this thread. #sciart #InternationalCochlearImplantDay #cochlear

This is Dopamine. Other hormones like Norepinephrine, Serotonin, Oxytocin, and Vasopressin do influence relationships.
Wishing you all a good dose of #dopamine today. #ValentinesDay2020 #Valentines #Feb14 #SciArt #neuroscience

They have done well to quickly cover so much about the virus. The rate of publication on 2019-nCoV is astonishing.

Here you go @KizzyPhD. Figure 3 of nejm.org/doi/full/10.1056/NE… has the rough shape of the virus with the spike protein present. Which I then built an illustrative 3D model to the approximate size and shape of the virus.

I used VMD ks.uiuc.edu/Research/vmd/ and #blender 3D blender.org to generate this image. Hope that helps.

Maybe one day there will be an illustration people won't be tempted to eat. If not, I could help a cafe to sell biology themed treats.
