Thankfully the fan scanlations of Part 8 seems to be much better so I didn't have to sit through the same issues there. But it is such a shame that such an excellent part is currently still quite affected by an issue of service. (5/5)
No offense to the people involved, but the fan scanlations I discovered was so much worse in terms of image and translation quality that sometimes I legitimately can't tell what the characters are doing and talking about. (4/5)
Unfortunately my experience reading the part is kind of screwed halfway through Diego and Hot Pants' pursuit of Valentine on the train due to the official English Volume releases not reaching that point yet, So I had to look up fan scanlations to continue. (3/5)
I'm glad that Araki took special care in making Johnny and Gyro spend so much time together and having so many character interactions not just amongst themselves, but also with other characters especially when they actively try to pass each other during the race. (2/5)
Finished Jojo Part 7 - Steel Ball Run.
Definitely the tightest written part so far, every single fights are excellently paced, plus the story and characters are super interesting. Definitely worthy of the popular consensus of being the best Jojo part. (1/5)
