If you love Calverley Grounds and are keen to put something into the community, please contact Friends of Calverley Grounds here. There are a FoCG committee and trustees for @RTW_Adventure, but, currently, there is no chair.
Please get in touch if you would like to help.

At our annual general meeting last year, our chairman, Jim Kedge, stood down after 9 years as chair & vice-chair. No-one put themselves forward for the role.
The Friends of Calverley Grounds needs a new chair if it is to act as the residents' voice for the town centre park.

Replanting at the Calverley Adventure Grounds went very well today, thanks to help from the Friends of Calverley Grounds and CP team. @FoCGTunWells @TWellsTourism @rtwtogether @RTW_Adventure @townforum
The ice skating rink construction is well under way ahead of it’s opening on the 18th of November. Anyone else crossing their fingers for crisp cold sunny Winter days with the odd snow flurry this festive season.
🎃 Roasted pumpkin seeds - scoop out the seeds, wash, pat dry, toss in oil, salt, pepper, garlic granules and paprika, whack in the oven on foil covered baking sheet and bake at 180 for 12 to 15 minutes tossing occasionally! Hey presto a delicious, nutritious half term snack! 🎃

The @TWPuppetryFest on 15th of October 2022 promises to be full of joy and imagination, with shows inside The Whale, walk-about puppets (beware one of these is grumpy…) and workshops in the Calverley Grounds and the Royal Victoria Place shopping centre. – at Royal Tunbridge Wells, England

If you're bringing the kids to #TWFDF22 you must visit @RTW_Adventure just above the festival site. The @FoCGTunWells is a great place to visit all year round.
We're open 11am - 6pm both days.

Thank you @rtwtogether for inviting us to contribute to their summer mag. Find us on p52-54 talking about our fav indies for little locals: @whirligigtoys, #Stampede, #TheInside @RTW_Adventure & #ClaudiasPlace. All thank TN members for supporting them with a gift or discount.
🐝 There are reports of several wasps nests in the playground. @TWellsCouncil have been notified but in the meantime please do take care if you are visiting. 🐝
We know how much the community loves #CalverleyGrounds but there is often litter left behind which is unsightly but more importantly can be dangerous to those we share the park with. Please pop your litter in the bin or take it home if there isn’t space. 🦡 🦊 🐦 🐿
@FoCGTunWells need your help to put on a very special Art in the Park in conjunction with @TWPuppetryFest and @TWellsCouncil Please retweet #Tunbridgewells #artinthepark #volunteer #letsmakeithappen #playyourpart

This year’s RSPB Big Garden Birdwatch starts tomorrow! Simply choose an hour between 28 and 30 January and count the birds that you see land in your garden, local park or from your balcony. Then tell them what you saw.
