Odisha Showcases Technology-Driven Road Safety Initiatives at WHO’s National Dialogue in New Delhi
Transport Commissioner Shri Amitabh Thakur participated in the National Dialogue on Road Safety Legislation, organised by WHO in New Delhi, highlighting Odisha’s various road safety measures, including enforcement under Section 167, truck terminals to address unauthorised parking, Goshala establishment for stray cattle management, and the Rakshak and Junior Rakshak programmes. He also highlighted AMA RASTA Whatsapp Chatbot, aimed at providing timely assistance to road accident victims, and AMA SuVahak, promoting women’s empowerment in the transport sector.
