It occurs to me that Unity's new pricing model incentivizes developers to get people to buy their games but then never install them.
Steam players, you know what to do. You've been preparing all your lives for this moment. Remember your training.

At #SPHERE23, our CTO Tim Orchard led a stimulating discussion about how much #cybersecurity is *enough*.
@RTO of @CydeaHQ offered a simple yet revealing question worth any organization's time.

NEW: America is a rich country. Britain is a poor country with one wealthy region.
People love to compare the UK to Mississippi, but it’s far more informative to look at UK subnationally, too.
London ranks fairly well, the rest of the country does not 👉 ft.com/content/e5c741a7-befa…

Are you ready for this?
Our Govt paid £2.6bn for 5 migrant ships over 2 years
And yet…
The general cost to charter the most luxurious Royal Caribbean cruise ship for 2 years
Inc fuel, food, staff, etc
For 5614 people (double our migrant boats’ capacity)
Is $832m
Or £643m.

Risk analysis is primarily conducted by taking assumptions and rating them subjectively. But what if we instead gave figures to the cyber risks a business faces daily?

I'm sick of the whole security absolutionist vibe.
I can't be this thing that you want me to be.
I love using my Google products, I don't want to de-google anything. I love my iot products. I like speaking to a home speaker. I love Android auto. I grew up using Windows.

OH MY GOD!!!! Cristopher Walken is no dummy and is totally irreplaceable, but for the purposes of this test of @WonderDynamics Wonder Studio, I've replaced him with a dummy. This took ~90 minutes to process, including Mocap, actor removal, and rendering.

I have noticed over the last 1/2 decade an explosion of entities providing #infosec training.
A significant portion are from well meaning individuals- Bravo.

We got together with security professionals a while ago to talk about security monitoring strategies.
But could they be more effective if combined with robust risk scenarios, aligned to your organisation?

Keep this in mind the next time someone asks you to design a "simple" feature.

TBT, one of my favorite shots from October 2020. It’s not the sharpest but pretty amazing to have captured it. I don’t know if San Diego will have another lightning show like this again.
