ALT A quote from Head of Research and Data Analysis Robin Moore which says "Transitional Safeguarding in youth justice and probation services. This research, undertaken by the University of East Anglia and Research in Practice/National Children’s Bureau, examined Transitional Safeguarding practices across youth justice and probation services and whether the six key principles of the Transitional Safeguarding approach were being applied. While there was impetus for a Transitional Safeguarding approach at practice and strategic levels, translation of this impetus into direct practice was not always evidenced or was not happening, with leaders and practitioners recognising the need for transitional arrangements to be different than they are now. A number of key implications are highlighted within the report, with three accompanying briefings – aimed at practitioners, senior managers, and policy leads – setting out further reflection questions and potential actions."

ALT A picture that says the title of the Academic Insight paper "Carefully and humanely progressing responsible and ethical digitisation in probation" with a quote from Dr Robin Moore Head of Research that says, "To transform probation services into equitable, digitally-mature environments and to support a broader digital recovery ecosystem – encompassing the individual, interpersonal, community and societal levels – there are a number of critical requirements. These include developing digital resources based on needs and rights, supporting co-production and collaborative approaches, building a range of partnerships, integrating evaluation mechanisms, and developing leaders who understand and can progress the agenda."

ALT Quote from HM Chief Inspector of Probation, Martin Jones reads: “Leaders and partners at Bromley YJS have worked hard to create a mature and well-functioning partnership, where a clear vision and roadmap are in place to help children achieve their potential. We trust the findings and recommendations in this report will assist the service in improving even further.”
