That鈥檚 the frustrating part about these Lakers moves on the margins man, no one cares. Pelinka doesn鈥檛 care, Jeanie doesn鈥檛 care and we have to hope our star and coach points them in the right direction to get anything done which is unfair to them

The only explanation for why Jeanie has never considered firing him is she is a very lonely woman with very few friends
Are we surprised tho? Its rob

It is the Lakers problem they ended up waiving a first round pick that THEY chose In a professional org there would be consequences or at the very least some type of internal audit of wtf they did wrong
Nobody wanted to trade for a guy that sucks at the sport, oh well. Not our problem anymore

The only value Rob brings to the table is making Jeanie Buss feel good about herself, and being a Agent of Kobe years ago. What does he do that's even at a average level as a GM.
The Lakers decided to pick up Dalton Knecht鈥檚 $4.2 million team option for 2026-27 last October, assuming at the very least they would be able to trade him. After trying for a year, they obviously found no takers and now will keep his dead money on their books for the upcoming season if he is not claimed on waivers (he won鈥檛 be). Poor asset management has become a theme for this front office over the years.

Whiffing on two straight first-round picks when you were as asset dry as the Lakers were was just brutal. Set aside the players who went after them in those drafts, but a lot of us begged them to use those picks on win-now help during the latter stages of the AD/LeBron era. Woof.

Unfortunately they already scapegoated the Buss Bros for that
Back to back misses as bad as JHS and Dalton should honestly come with some level of accountability.
