in June 2007, i headed up the trailer analysis on the GTA forums - specifically the vehicle identification / speculation.
here are my first screen grabs from back then. so exciting then, so exciting now with the recent launch trailer
i just pre-ordered the 'physical code in box' edition of GTA VI.
simply as an artifact to keep hold of in the collection.
my fav scene in the new trailer
Non mais cette scène du Trailer de lancement de GTA 6 !!!

when that voice says
"grand theft auto 6 - coming november 19 - rated M for mature"
it's SO nostalgic. i remember watching vice city trailers in quicktime back in 2002 and it had that same voice.
can't believe we're almost here man 😭
i'm SO tempted to fly to Miami to see all this Vice City stuff with my own eyes...
is it worth the hundreds of pounds??? will i regret NOT going once it's all done?.. horrible mental gymnastics at the min!!
this is AWFUL.
I wanted to want one of these (consumerism etc) but after watching the launch trailer i couldn't think of a worse way to go about my day to day.
Just finished GTA Vice City Stories.
Amazing game. You can tell they were just having fun and building on top of a really strong existing foundation.
No joke, might be the best 3D era GTA in a lot of ways!
Today on the 2006 archive, here is a cover I designed for GTA San Andreas Stories - a game that didn't exist and never would.
It features many of Rockstar's trademark design elements, like licensed vehicles, reused art assets from previous games, and a helicopter in the bottom left.
Nobody was fooled.
Back in the days of forums etc, you used to put these things called 'userbars' in your signature, to share a little bit about yourself.
Here are some I made in 2006. I did not drive a Renault, as i was 14.
Generally you'd have one or two on display but I made a block like this because of course I did.
May 6, 2006, I posted this image to the PSP forums, trying to convince people my dad worked at Sony and GTA:SA was releasing on PSP.
I didn't have photoshop so I actually printed out the cover art and put it in a UMD case.
Nobody believed me & I got banned from the forum.
May 21, 2006 - a further attempt to convince the forums that I had a real copy of the GTA:SA on PSP . Pay no mind to the fact the disc clearly says 'Playstation 2'
The disc is likely my first ever photoshop work. The photo was a PS2 screenshot loaded up in the PSP photo viewer.
