This isn't theoretical. It's happening in Hellesdon.
For the Royal Norwich Golf Club site, the developer is using a "viability appraisal" to change the deal.
Original promise: 33% affordable homes.
New reality: They want to cut 185 affordable homes, offering just 30 instead.
This is the loophole in action.

A developer is trying to cut nearly 200 promised affordable homes.
Here’s the secret they use: The "Viability Loophole".
A thread 🧵

Our outstanding member @NorwichNpa is not only teaching about democracy but also supporting it with the use of the Class Meeting Tool! 🤩
Keep up the great work!
Today we have been learning about the UK Parliament and democracy because it is @YourUKParl week. All @NorwichNpa pupils have listened to assemblies & are learning through activities in their SEARCH lessons. We are also practicing voting with our own @SSCCTY classroom meetings!
