Ahem @SecRubio
A horrific Russian strike in the Kharkiv region. A “shahed” struck people directly – in a park near an ordinary café. Pure atrocity. Six people were killed, including children. A little girl was killed in a stroller – her name was Angelina, she was just over a year old, born in August 2025… Her mother’s name was Inna. She died in the hospital… Another girl who was killed was 11 years old. My condolences to their families and loved ones. Another 14 people were injured, including six more children.
I am grateful to everyone who supports Ukraine under these circumstances and helps us shoot down “shaheds,” shoot down missiles, and stop Russian assaults. These are horrific photos, but behind them are shattered lives and the truth about this war. Lives must be protected. Ukraine needs air defense. You can't think about making money with Russia as long as it continues its asinine war. We ask that sanctions on Russia stay in place as long as the killings continue. We ask America to be strong, and we ask it to apply the Lindsey Graham law. We ask Europe to continue its support. We ask that everything possible be done to bring peace and guarantee security. Ukraine wants peace. It is Russia that has insisted on continuing the killing all this time. The world has enough strength to stop the war. That strength must finally be used – against the murderers.

If you see something expensive on my page and wonder why it costs what it does, the answer is always the same: its production involved more skilled human labor.
As mass production has evolved, industrially produced products can seem indistinguishable from their handmade counterparts, thus raising the reasonable question: "why would anyone pay that much for something?"
People have wrestled with this question since at least the rise of The Second Industrial Revolution. I can't adequately answer this question for you in a tweet, but it lays at the heart of many our contemporary debates around AI.
I am not necessarily against industrial production. But I do think there's something beautiful about someone dedicating their life to mastering a traditional craft. To understand why someone would pay a lot of money for something, you have to look beyond the object itself and think about the process and person behind the object.
This requires a new relationship with objects, so you are not thinking purely about utility (e.g., buying a watch to tell time, a cup to hold water, a jacket to keep warm, etc).

Fuck that, and fuck @jaredkushner.
President Trump’s envoy Jared Kushner says a peace deal between Russia and Ukraine could be completed if Ukraine surrendered territory Russia claims but has failed to capture.

Russia Russia Russia
Russia's plague outbreak is getting worse, now with 5 hospitals in Irkutsk quarantined, universities canceling classes and accusations from healthcare workers that the government is attempting a media cover-up.
Nearly 200 contacts of a 28-year-old anti-plague laboratory worker who died last week are reportedly under isolation or medical observation.
Irkutsk universities are canceling classes citing a “case of pneumonic plague,” while an aluminum plant introduced mandatory masks. A local government warning advising residents not to travel to Shelekhov was published and later deleted.
Healthcare workers claim doctors are discussing plague internally while avoiding the diagnosis in official documents.
Russian health authorities continue to deny any plague outbreak, attributing the woman's death to “pneumonia of unknown origin.”
Pneumonic plague is far worse that it's Bubonic cousin as its transmitted directly between humans.

They broke due to this Idiots incompetence. He lost supply line. He lost 18 American bases. He emptied our armory. He empowered the enemy. And his actions led to the killing of 170 school girls. Loser/poser.

There is something so unAmerican and so disturbing about an American president demeaning and poking fun at a fellow American president in the presence of a communist leader, while the previous president is battling cancer.
It’s just so sickening.
This fucking place.

Here is to a multitalented man.
Here is to someone who, when his trumpet failed him before thousands of people, didn’t panic. He simply picked up the microphone and kept going.
And perhaps most of all, here is to those who turn massive mishaps into memorable moments. Who meet an unexpected setback with calm, creativity, and courage. Who take a terrible turn and transform it into a tremendous triumph.
Sometimes, if we don't give up, adversity doesn’t get the final note.
We do.

It's a spectator sport in that this administration is only good at producing spectacles. You are a natural fit because you're not a real athlete, just an influencer who's also good at producing theatre. The administration is using you to distract from a foreign war that has made life more expensive in the United States. You are happy to participate because you have no real beliefs outside of self-promotion and making money.

Axios sought out Hasan Piker, interviewed him just to pick him apart, and now CNN is reporting on it...when there are a million other things to focus on. This is why no one likes legacy media.
First on @TheLeadCNN: Hasan Piker tells @axios @AlexThomp the Middle East 'would be more stable' if Iran had a nuke

Hey, New York Times, we need to talk.
What is this? Genuinely.
Because in what world were the Israelis not the victims? Why write that most of us "think" we are?
Are the Hamas terrorists who burned families alive the real victims?
I've seen a lot of disgusting coverage on the war, but this might be the worst I've ever seen.

It’s called freedom. Macklemore is free to say what he wants. People are free to protest what he says. The owner of the venue is free to tell Macklemore he can’t perform in his venue bcuz of what he says. This is freedom & the free market at work. Yes, this is my America - a place where people outside of government are free to make their own decisions.

• Impeached by his own party for blatant corruption.
